Well, my point is that he was an established pro..

I haven't fought in 23 years, but i'm confident that i would beat kid thunder on sheer god-given talent alone.. and i'm not trying to brag or hype myself up, he's just that bad.. talking about fighting Haugen is ridiculous if he lost 14 times to guys who are much less skilled than Greg.

i respectfully disagree.. not to say that with training he couldn't "better", but when you lose 14 times i think there is more than a training issue.. I applaud your effort to help train him, and it will obviously benefit him even outside of the ring because he will be healthier regardless, but we're men by nature, and we already have the bare-bone skills to fight.. i doubt he fought more than 3 or 4 guys who were actually really good technically who kept him at bay with their jab and he couldn't figure out how to beat them.. For the other 10 or so, it was him face to face with another man and going to "war", and i use that term loosely.. who's stronger, who can find their mark more often, and who wants to win more.. and that man was not him.

Actually he fought Kahn's last opponent Oisen Fagan,who more or less lives and breathes on his jab. Another one of Andrew's problems,is he got tossed in with some guys he had no buisness fighting too soon. Andrew would probably admit that I didnt exactly throw a parade about him calling Haugen out,but if he was going to call out a name fighter,go for the AARP member every time.
My biggest problem off of this,is how in the hell do I get it sanctioned and get it booked. Haugen will want more then a bus ticket and Seattle and Arkansas arent exactly next door.

Meaning, i gave him the benefit of the doubt on those fights, assuming that he ACTUALLY fought a few boxers here and there..

too soon? SEVEN losses to fighters on his record were 0-0-0.. another 0-1-0.. another 1-5-1..

and they are all KO's/TKO's..

i assume the next thing you will talk about is the extent of these 0-0-0's fighters amateur careers were..

i'll say this again.. it's nature to defend ourselves as humans.. it's not nature to be able to throw a fastball at 90mph, or to dunk a basketball, or to shoot a hockey puck, but it's nature, as animals, to be able to defend ourselves.. we are already born with these skills, and there are certain things that cannot be improved without having at least a GOOD amount of these skills to build upon.. I'm not saying that you know if you're a boxer or not right when you come out of the womb, but no matter how hard i train to become a major league pitcher, no matter who is coaching me, it's not going to happen.. it's good that Andrew is aiming high, but at some point you have to realize your limits..
