    Default 1 Punch Knockout Artists

Many people say fighters like Pavlik, Margarito, and Cotto are heavy handed but not 1 punch KO artists so this got me thinking who are the current active pound for pound 1 punch KO artists and who is the number 1 all time 1 punch KO artist.

For current active 1 punch KO's Vic Darchinyun and Ricardo Torres come to mind, they seem to be able to land one punch and change a fight.

All time, maybe Mike Tyson. Diego Corrales also seemed throw some bombs.

The #1 of all time (and also the #1 p4p hardest puncher of all time IMO) is Julian JAckson. I don't think anyone in the history of boxing had the kind of two handed power he had. All you need to do is watch his fights with Terry Norris and Herol Graham (two incredibly p4p quality fighters) to see what I mean.

Right now, I think guys like Daniel Ponce De Leon, Edison Miranda, David Haye and Kermit Cintron have to rank High up there

Agree about Jackson. John Mugabi, Earnie Shavers & Randall Bailey were/are some big bombers too.

Gotta disagree on Gamboa, he had a very nice one-punch KO against Seeger but I think he's more of a "speedy combo" type of killer.

I havn't seen Roy Jones mentioned yet.. I think that's where the knockout artist comes from, in that he's got the heavy hands, but it's when they throw from unexpected angles and throw punches from no where that the opponent has no chance of rolling with it or even knowing it's coming, and bang they are on the floor..

Like a Margarito, you're going to get the shit beaten out of you, but it's an onslaught that you know where it's coming from in some respect.. The knockout artists you wouldn't know you were going down until you're on your back face up looking at the lights..

    Yeah +1
There's a difference between combination of punches and 1 punch KO power.

I've seen Arthur Abraham's left "Hookercut" almost decapitate guys when he lands it well.

some fighters past and present have had grenades for fists.

Julian Jackson has an A-BOMB at the end of each arm , enough said.

past favorite fighers most dangerous punches I'll go with jack dempsey and mike tyson.

current p4p most dangerous puncher right now I think Juanma.
