So far had 2 weirdo spams
I think there are ways to prevent this. One of them is to have people add you or request by putting your real name on an option or your personal email. That way, you know only people that are really close to you will add/request. Also, there's a function where the person has to write a word that appears on the screen. I think its called "gotcha function" or something. Just like when you buy a ticket online. That prevents spammers from sending you their junk. I hate it too when I get messages from slutty fake-boob whores "You wanna have some fun tonight? Add me!"

I look for a site that lets me be creative, more than just posting pictures and messages. Myspace seems to be a lot better than facebook in that regard.

hahaha yeah yeah.. i searched yahoo not that long ago and i'm pretty sure it's gone from there.. so i'm cool with that.. at least facebook pics are easy to take down.. i'm close to deleting my facebook again anyway.. the only thing it's really good for involves women. if i meet a girl out somewhere, have a good conversation etc, i can find her on facebook see if she has a boyfriend and not make a fool of myself by asking her out the next time i talk to her if she does.. Also girls take some great pics, and i don't mind looking at them. With that said, i can live without both of those reasons and get rid of all of the other bullshit like how some guy Steve is no longer in a relationship.. or that he posted a picture of his dog and 10 people commented on it.

Yea I tend to agree for the most part on its use for girls. That is primarily what mine is for, not the saddo one...but my hometown one. It's effective. I use it also for boxing and have quite a few canadian amateurs and coaches on it also...so it helps keep us organized some on what is happening and where. Plus being called a fag or told I smell every 2nd post by friends is something I've sorta just grown fond of.

I think if I were in the job market, for career-oriented work, I would be more mindful of who gets to see what for obvious reasons.

lol I hope you don't change that pic now RP33. It's a classic.

I find facebook and myspace to be childish and stupid. People are wasting time on there communicating to people that they normally would never communicate with through mediums that dont thrive on ease and just being prying and nosey.
If someone really wants to talk to me. THey can send an email, personal message, or heaven forbid a real phone call or postage letter. I find postage letters the most meaningful way to get communication to me. It is raelly great to get a letter from someone you care about. No one writes them now.

ALso anyone who has 800 photos of themselves is a conceited fuck. Then they look at their own page all the time, or at others trying to keep up with news that doesn't make two shits.

Haha. Since this post I have added facebook again. I still feel about that same way about it, but I get to chat with Scrap, Greg, Biblo, and others on it. It really is pretty much an extension of this place.

I was going to give Legion my phone number one time to call me after a big fight (can't remember which one) as I was going out of town and wouldnt get to see it. Oh well.

    hahaha

    100% agree.

Fuckin comments and those Goddamn surveys and pic comments ruin relationships.

Myspace makes things easy in the beginning then inevitably fucks shit up.
