    Default Andrew Murray

I never normally bet. In fact the only time I did bet was when I put £50 on Nadal to win Wimbledon 2008, which he did just about. I won £85. This time I put £50 on Murray to win the Australian slam at 5/2 which they said I will win £175. Hope he does it.

Yep, good luck on that. Murray has come on leaps and bounds over the last year or so.

Yeah he is a very good player.

Just shame he is also a twat. His neck is too long and he is suspiciously ginger. Not to mention a stroppy Scot with a chip on his shoulder.

Still, world class tennis player. Depends whether you think one excuses the other?

Murray has got a good chance to win any major he plays in. He's proven he belongs in the elite list of tennis players today. His flaw is his mental game. When he starts doubting himself or gets outplayed, he treads too much and let's his emotions get the best of him. He just needs to mature a little bit more before he can reach the top.

Plus, with Djokovic, Federer, and Nadal still out there, it makes it really tough for anyone to win any major. Federer has something to prove because he is apparently bothered by his #2 ranking. Nadal is KING right now and has no plans of giving that up anytime soon. Finally, if Djokovic is hitting his shots, no one can beat him IMO. His consistency needs work but even on a bad day, he beats most.

And as embarassed as I am to say this, I'm a fan of Roddick and every major tourney I'm always pulling for him. He has the fate of American tennis and he needs to get back into the elite. I think he's been on the border between good players and elite for a couple years now.

I threw £20 on Djokovic to win the US Open last year.

I wont be putting any money on the Aussie Open though. To hard to call IMO.

I do not care if he is a cunt as long as he wins me some cash. I normally support Federer but wanted Nadal to win Wimbledon as he was on a good run and battered him in the French Open. Murray is the same, he has beaten the top two and just has good form.

murray just comes across as one of those blokes everyone hates.

Completely void of any personality and his arrogance just shines through all the time.

I for one hope he gets beat and ends up retiring through humiliation
    one dangerous horrible bloke

That's Murray out then. Disapointing performance, one minute he's blowing hot and the next seemingly not paying attention. Bit of a shame really.

He's a nearly man. As long as Federer and Nadal have a whole in their arse. Murray won't win a major (doubt anybody else will either)

My predictions for the rest of the year!

    Australian - Federer
    French - Nadal
    Wimbledon - Federer
