Though I think the real reason is, Pac knows Hatton is a beast and will relentlessly grind him down till the fight is stopped.. Hatton is like a scourge and a haunt, he just terrorizes his opponent in the ring and wont let up

Fukk Pac. He can never claim that he always tried the fight the best. What a fraud. If that fag had any sense he knew that even 52% against Hatton would generate a lot more against Margez, Valero, Guzman etc. The fans Hatton brings to his fights, no one can compare too. Guess he really is dumb.

In terms of future opponents, for Pacquiao, there is Mayweather, but I doubt he will get more than 50-50 against him even if it did post bigger numbers in the US, whilst Marquez III is another option and one where he could get a bigger piece of the pie, but I can't see this being as lucrative as Hatton.

Hatton can fight any 'name' and he will do good numbers. I think one fight he could go for is Cotto at a catchweight of 144 or something, if Cotto doesn't go straight to Margarito after demolishing Jennings. This could also be fairly big money wise, and would probably do close to 1,000,000 buys in the UK. That's interesting. How acurate is/was it? I'm pretty sure it was reported much lower than that even though Sky didn't release the actual number - they never do unless they are great.

    You're dumb ass!

Tell me why the basic premise has being set for Pacquiao / Margarito? Pacquiao is keen on watching Margrito / Mosley fight. Don't come up with some lame dumb as answer either.

Hatton's draw numbers are down against other fighters and no way he could even hope to generate the kind of money a Pacquiao / Hatton fight can. Even a rematch with Mayweather would come up way short. A place Hatton can make good money is in the UK with live tickets and it's gotta be with one of the alaphbets cause IBO ain't gonna get him anything. The only thing you write that make sence is about Hatton fans.

Marquez ain't going up to 140 to fight Hatton because he'd get his ass knocked out and knows it. It would tank his career again. I wouldn't even watch it and I'd only look at the highlights after the fight on youtube. Most people don't even know the fighter names you have listed not only that they are all in the lightweight and superfeather weight class, not the jr welterweight and welterweight class.

agreed who has pacquiao fought? hatton fought kostya and floyd jr, and the castillo win was amazing.

he also fought prime fighters like collazo, urango and floyd jr.

how can pacman compare when he avoided the best in the divison like guzman, valero, humberto soto, and now hatton

to an extent i agree, but to not take the fight with Hatton was stupid. who will get pacman hatton-kind-of-coin without added risk? margarito and pbf fights are much riskier.

Nah! I don't think Pac is a ducker. He's fought and beat some of the most legendary fighters in history such as Barrera x2, Morales x2 (and lost one), Oscar De La Hoya and JMM.

The really impressive part for me though is he knew that JMM was a stylistic nightmare for him going into the rematch yet he still took it and got the decision!

What I'm saying is he can't say he decided to fight the best in this instance.

When did I bring the past up ?

To me, Pac-Margarito is a mismatch. Maragrito is a big ass welterweight. Pac wont be able to make him flinch also. His pucnhes will have no effect. Margarito is bigger and stronger. How will Pac cope with that pressure from a guy his size ? Margarito crushes Pac.

You gonna whine at anything else ?

Well my cuz was working on that broadcast of the fight, and in the gallery where they were doing it those are the numbers they were talking about & they usually pretty accurate with that stuff, although no doubt Sky were disappointed because that's almost 1 million less than the Hatton-Mayweather fight did. However, that's against a guy who was not really a name outside the boxing world, and if those are correct than it represents a bit under 1% of the UK's population buying the fight, if my maths are right which they probably ain't .

It would be so funny if who ever fights Pacquiao next ko's him.If the fight with Hatton doesnt happen then he goes and fights someone for $3million when he would of got $11million for Hatton just doesnt make sence it looks like he is avoiding Ricky.

I wonder how the relationship is with Freddie Roach after this boils down cause Manny wont pick up the fone to Roach.
