It was the assyrians whom first used iron weapons in warfare actually, which gave them a huge advantage. The etruscans are actually a distinct people from the romans and they ruled over the early romans, romans kind of said fuck it overthrew the etruscan king and went on an ass kickin campaign while in the process incorporating lots of etruscan ideas, like the toga which they actually got from the etruscans and not the greeks if i remeber history class correctly. Interesting. Assyrians were located in ...?? Where are they timewise relative to the Etruscans and Romans?

They're a peoples that are believed to have originated from the highlands in modern day turkey and then went on down into mesopotamia if I recall correctly...been around since like something 2000 BC, so definitely before the romans ever came into existence and before the etruscans too. They eventually succumbed to the babylonians and persians as did most anyone else in the region.

If you are saying that your answer of India should have qualified, then sorry Scrap, but I have to rule against you, India is too vague. The question asks for a civilization, and it takes a place, a time, and a people to make a civilization, not just a place.

If you mean "modern day" I would say they came from Italy, in the late 15th century.

Got to go with cgm if you mean modern day, or maybe its a trick question they came from venice since in the 15th century italy wasn't italy.The vikings also showed up in the early 1000's but left no lasting influence, perhaps you meant native americans whom I think came ffrom asia some 20000 years ago over the land bridge that had formed out of ice between alaska and asia.
