Default Danny Perez steps in to fight Alfredo Angulo on HBO tripleheader

    its on some websites

so Mayorga pulled out, now we have Perez, along with the Campbell-Funeka fight, and Sergio Martinez-Cintron. Still not a bad card IMO.

If you have no idea who he is, he's got some decent wins, fought Margarito a couple times, lost both, beat some guys like Zertuche, David Kamau, Grady Brewer and his last couple Eric Mitchell and Julio Garcia.

Yeah Perez is a solid veteran! Never been stopped! His best days were probably at 147... he actually dropped Margarito in their 1st fight!

Perez was on HBO not to long ago. On the Casamayor-Marquez under card. He beat up once hot prospect Garcia

A solid replacement at such short notice. Applaud Gary Shaw for saving this one for Angulo. Frank Warren take note.

Yeah I was going to mention that but after Garcia lost to the 40 year old Browning I wasn't sure how impressive that win was!

He seems to have found a career second wind, looked good and busy beating Garcia with only loss in 5 years to top ranked Middle contender David Lopez.Maybe Im off here.....first instinct is to say its an even up match.
