I'm having second thoughts of this opinion that PAC might inflict the worst beating on Hatton...
It's very difficult to top what PBF did to Hatton, slamming Hatton to the ring post and knocking him out but if PAC cuts Hatton's face early and then slam Hatton face first to the canvass before round 9 ends then I think that will top what PBF did to Hatton...
.
I'm rooting for Pac. Once he disposes of Hatton, I think I've heard rumblings about a possible fight with Cotto. Wouldn't that be great?
PAC-Cotto is very possible... Cotto is contemplating of bolting out from TopRank (he's angry Arum is defending Margarito) so in order for TopRank to renew/sign-up Cotto again is to bait him with a $10M guaranteed purse Pacquiao fight in September or October (that's if PAC beats Hatton)...
I think Cotto is also interested in a Pacquiao fight, he started mentioning PAC's name as possible future opponent...

Pac VS Cotto......people are really getting carried away with the Oscar win. Cotto is a top Welter, young, skilled, fast with very decent power. The Hatton fight is a huge challenge in itself but some reckon it's gonna be a piece of piss for Manny. I say wait and see what happens with Hatton first.
Pacquiao Beats "one-dimensional" Hatton, Says Juan Diaz
By Mark Vester
Former lightweight champion Juan Diaz recently gave his thoughts on the outcome of the May 2 bout between Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton. Diaz doesn't think Hatton has what it takes, skill-wise, to beat the more polished Pavquiao. He feels Hatton's is a one-dimensional fighter and has a style that will play into Pacquiao's hands.
“It's gonna be two good guys facing against each other but I think Manny Pacquiao has improved as far as his boxing skills are concerned. The fact that Ricky Hatton is a one-dimensional fighter, he just comes forward a lot, I think Manny Pacquiao can expose that and beat him,” Diaz told Dennis Principe during his dzSR’s Sports Chat.
He said Pacquiao's power is well-known, but it's going to be his boxing skills that win him the fight.
“We all know that he has the power to knock a guy out and he did that from junior featherweight, feather weight all the way up to welterweight. I think his boxing skills is gonna take him over to win against Ricky Hatton,” Diaz said.
I wouldnt call the Dela Hoya a knockout win like i wouldnt call Hattons win over Paulie a knockout win, Dela Hoya quit because he couldnt offer any sort of answer to Pacs arsenal. Pac i think could stop Ricky but i honestly believe Pac is in for a rough night, Hatton is a strong fighter who imposes himself on fighters, people who come up with Pacs a natural 140 fighter i think talk nonsense, Hatton is the bigger stronger man and that will show come fight night when he enters the ring at around 152/153 lbs. But Pac is fast snappy and can throw quick punches which i think will be the telling factor, i also think the referee's handling of the fight will be a key factor.
But if i had to put my neck on the line id say Pac 10th rnd tko.
Here's my short analytic Prediction for this fight.
How the hell Hatton can close the Gap without taking bombs? Pac's arms are 5" longer than hatton. Pac has the better Jab... Ohh much better coz hatton actually was Virtually no Jab at all. On this fight Pac will use a lot of his Lead Left coz that punch will still be the longer & effective shot that hatton's Jab.
Now How can Hatton can close the Gap? His Jab won't help. hatton will use his head movement to get close to Pac. The Bad news ... Pac's footspeed is much Faster than Hatton. All Pac has to do is step Back & counter with Jab, Right Hook or lead left.
IN case Pac was caught in a Clinch, Pac was good in this situation. All you have to do is watch Pac-Velasquez. Pac can throw that Left uppercut hook even while Clinching. Pac also aware on what's coming & quick to move his head on one side to the other to avoid Punches during a Clinch.
The key in this fight is Pac's punch accuracy from the outside. Hatton's is way out of League in that Category. I see this fight going the way How Pac beat Lucero & David Diaz. Make Hatton miss then strafe him from the outside. We saw it in Pac's last 2 fights. He never let his opponent tie him up on the inside. Pac will have a Punch fest from the outside for this fight. Hatton's arms are way too short to Block Pac's avalanche of punches. Pac K0 rd 5.
There's hope for Hatton... Every boxer has a chance even how slim it is...
Ricky Hatton's Hidden Advantage Over Manny Pacquiao
For fight fans, May 2nd is an eternity from now.
Many are consumed by the anticipation for that moment when Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton finally step into the ring to answer the opening bell. They touch gloves, and the brawl is on.
Predictions on the outcome are split down the middle. Both fighters are more or less evenly matched in size and reach. Pacquiao will have the edge in speed, Hatton will presumably have the edge in power, being at his natural weight and having taken on bigger opponents.
However, one distinct advantage that the Hitman will have over the Pacman is his “fighting style.” Manny Pacquiao all throughout his career has been a very clean fighter. He fights well and fights clean. In a fight this close that may be to his disadvantage.
Hatton on the other hand, is known to use every trick in the book to get one over his opponent. He will use his head (in more ways than one), shoulders, and land punches in places where they shouldn’t (just ask Kostya Tszyu). Hatton will push, clinch, get entangled and use rough-housing techniques that will blur the lines.
In a battle at close-quarters, this will serve him in good stead. Fighting close will also neutralize Pacquiao’s speed.
But Manny is not the world’s pound for pound best for nothing. He and Freddie Roach will come in with a solid game plan. They know that Pacquiao is most vulnerable at close-quarters. Vulnerable to Ricky’s rough-housing tactics and short stinging body punches.
Expect Manny to be quick on his feet and move out of harm’s way when Ricky rushes in. He must not even give Ricky a chance to play dirty and execute his game plan.
Recall that early in his career while campaigning as a super-bantamweight, Pacquiao struggled with a technical draw against Agapito Sanchez. Sanchez was not even a great fighter. Just an extremely dirty one.
In that fight, he used low blows and head-butts, with the fight stopped in the sixth rounds due to cuts suffered by Pacquiao. This is a classic example of how a dirty fighter can neutralize one who does not play that game.
Not to take anything away from Hatton who has more than proven to be an elite fighter, but his edge against Manny is that he does not hesitate to use “unconventional” tactics inside the ring when need be. He may just need everything in his armory if he is to take out Pacquiao.

Thats how I saw hattons chances.. Closing the distance, In fighting and roughing up Manny could slow him down frustratehim enough for hatton to do his damage... I know for sure that Pac will get his body busted up and we'll see how he can take that left to the liver repeatedly
Are you saying he has 3 arms or that he holds and hits?
Hatton will use the following steps to close the gap.
