Well done Rogan! I hope he goes and has a nice little career on the back of that. Hopefully he gets a couple of easy defences in the King's Hall and makes a few quid before he's in a tough fight again. I'm guessing Warren has options on him now though.

Oh definitely, they made eye contact after the fight so naturally that means he's tied down for a ten year coontract in Warren's world.

He does appear to be a bit of a cunt when it comes to boxers and their contracts, doesn't he? In America it's illegal for a fighter's promoter to also be his manager.

He is a cunt no doubt, but whose manager is he where he's also the promoter?

I think he manages all his fighters.

He's definitely not Amir Khan's manager & he wasn't Hatton's either, I know that much.

They both had business managers but Warren decided who they fought next.

Second.. Rogan is gonna find himself in dreamland today..whats he had 12 fights or close to and look at the position he's in and at 37
Huge result for him beating Skelton on Sat and i wonder if he'll start calling Haye out soon?

    that was brilliant

Rogan scares the absoloute crap out of me and ive never even been within 500 feet of him!!!

No technical pedigree and no real boxing background, just one tough c*nt that you just know loves inflicting punishment on others!!

I suspect a decent technician will eventually put him in his place, but its still great fun watching a guy like him come from absoloute nowhere to commonwealth champion

I fooking missed this fight!I was really busy and did'nt have time to watch it let alone back Rogand at the Bookmakers. Its funny how Rogan has always been the under dog but then turns around and shows you exactly whats he made of.I really like Rogan. The amount of fans he's getting is getting bigger and bigger,he's great. He has plenty of heart and he's game to fight anyone anywhere!!Im sooo glad Rogan has done what he has done,,he puts a smile on my face and its exactly what we need in the heavyweights.

    Comgratulatione Rogan!

What heart and desire Rogan has got. There should make a film about him,,he is truly ROCKY

    Love him!

Was searching for a thread like this, as I was just about to roll off on a bout of praise of the man on a new thread.

Martin Rogan must be one of the hardest men ever to grace a British boxing ring, and it is only the consideration of the vast history of British boxing that makes me put "one of the" before the word "hardest".

I must admit that prior to this I was a little worried about Matt Skelton getting on his skates and trying to dance around Rogan as he did to Williams a few years ago. However, Rogan had none of it, and penned him into the corners for much of the fight.

Floyd Mayweather might look at these two fighters, and see prospects for him to come out of retirement for an RJJ-style heavyweight bout, because neither man was stylish nor quick, but in terms of effort and lasting power, they were both in there slugging it out for 10 amazing rounds.

Hearing the interview with Rogie after the fight, and on Buncey's boxing hour later on in the week, I couldn't be more chuffed for him. A true gent, and absolutely the best chin among the heavyweights. Truly, if you could combine the attributes and skills of Audley Harrison with the chin, determination and stamina of Rogan, I imagine we would have ourselves a replacement for Lennox.

I truly hope Rogan can get a few paydays out of this now, and at least make a few defences of his Commonwealth belt, and get a hold of the European belt that Skelton lost, by not retaining his Commonwealth belt.

And hopefully, I'll be in Belfast to see the next step of the dream!
