That's how long it's been since Vazquez/Marquez III, seems like it's been forever. I haven't heard any updates on Izzy's retina issues he should have been long done with the surgeries. Anyone have any info?

Hopefully he can recover fully w/out problems...But he has been takin an awful long time to come back.

I think this is the disadvantage of having a back-to-back series of 3 brutal fights... Took out a lot on each boxer... Sure it's one of the greatest trilogy of our time but the results/effects are also heavy... Boxing missed these 2 warriors for a long time now...

I said it long ago since after the fight.
I really doubt either one will be the same.
One of the greatest fights I've ever been to, Izzy-Rafa trilogy will IMO stand the test of time as the greatest trilogy ever.
Did I mention I broke my chair that night...

Marquez is supposedly returning in June for a tune-up fight in Mexico.
