You could see from the interview that his heart isn't in it anymore, seemed dissapointed but not devastated as you'd expect from someone who's put everything into it and failed.

Afolabi seemed tough as hell and has a lot of good moves, but his sparring attitude will lose him fights at the top when he's outworked and his opponent can take his shots.

Mormeck was surely Haye's biggest win?

You can't question Haye's ability now just because Mac has been ko'd again. It happens, it's the cruiserweight division and guys can punch. Enzo just has a weak chin. He is limited but he was still winning the fight up until the stoppage.

    I agree in principle.

You're right, Mormeck is Haye's biggest win.

My point is just that Enzo was overrated. Weak chin, no stamina, lack of desire = not a great fighter.

That only goes for this fight. He was never a great fighter and most definitely had a weak chin but he's lost something for boxing since the Haye loss. The Calzaghe/Warren split has messed him up bad.

I'm not sure who "overrated" Enzo? He only had a few fans.

He was caught flush with an absolutely thumping overhand right that would have sparked most Heavyweights.
Ola reminded me of Mr-T and looked hard as nails, Enzo landed some bombs flush on him and they just had no effect.

Don't see where Enzo can go in the boxing world now.

If enzo had used his head a bit more and just boxed for 12 rounds he would have taken the decison easily. There was something mentally not right for him in that fight IMO and i dont know what the hell he was doing. I think Ola is an easy fight for most cruiserweight top 10 fighters.

Me and my mates all said he was having a fight in a phone box type affair and should have backed off a bit and got more leverage.
Think he fought the wrong fight and he puts so much into those shots that he looked fucked by the time the KO came.
Looked fucked after as it goes

He should have used his head after feeling Olas power in the third, it was clear he wouldnt have knocked him out. He should have just boxed and he would have won the decision easily. Olas only chance in the future is by winning fights by a big KO like in this fight. Any other fighter will box to a decison IMO

He said he hadn't seen Afolabi fight until couple hours before the fight so had no idea how tough he was and hadn't a plan except to blow him out early. I've no doubt if he prepared properly and specifically for this guy he could win a comfortable decision, but I don't see him beating the likes of Adamek/Cunningham however well he p[repares.

His head has been turned by MMA as well, having three or four Jiu-Jitsu lessons a week can only distract you from what you should be concentrating on.

Yes I do suppose if his prep mode and head wasnt there then he was more than likely going to lose. Its a shame because IMO macca is a good fighter and he has proved that in the past. A lot of people dont rate him at all on here, but I believe the lad has potential. But if his head is concentrating on MMA and thats what he wants to do then let him do it. Its a shame because ive always liked Macca and his style I think hes an exciting fighter that could have done a lot in the weight class.

What will Warren do now that he has no under card of world class fighter?
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
