I think we are getting too hyped up trying to revive a heavyweight scene to past glories and as a result we are hyping the first thing that looks halfway exciting to watch. An athlete should look like one and let's wait until he's been properly tested and had to go a long way in a fight that will test his fitness completely.
IMO overated,overhyped, overweight.........

Besides myself, no one is hyping up Arreola on this post or on this site. The consenus is that he is overweight, plodding, and not very good. Most feel that Chambers would beat Arreola. Many felt McCline and Travis Walker would beat Arreola. In fact, I can't think of many other fighters who decisively knock out prospects and veterans alike that are as disliked here as Arreola.
In my humble opinion, Arreola beats up Chambers. Please feel free to hold me to that statement. El Terrible, if that fight comes off, from gentleman to gentleman, I politely offer you a sig bet.
I won't go as far as to say Arreola beats a Klitschko. Not that I'm convinced he won't, but I need to consider it a bit more.
The bottom line is the guy is undefeated, for being a big fat out of shape guy he sure keeps winning, everyone said he was going to loose before the fight he didn't and now there's only a ton of reasons why he should have. People cry about the HW division but want to hate on a guy doing his job beating (no matter how fat) the guys in front of him and making it some-what exciting. I'll say this his fights have been way more enjoyable to watch then any of the garbage any of the champs are giving us. I look forward to seeing the guy again.

Did many people think Walker would beat him?
anyway I was wrong, I thought he'd win but I didn't think he'd stop him early. I thought he got McCline's attention right away, first punch, right hand to the body.
I still don't see any reason he can't be even like 240 but he's got some tools.
He and Chambers would be a good fight. Chambers would look good early probably, just a matter if he could keep it up.
For all his bloat and lazyness, I for one like the way he can put a combination together. It is very rare to see that these days as most heavies just like to 1-2 and then clinch.
Arreola goes for blood and so far has got what he wished for. It is strange, but watching his fighting style reminds me a little of Riddick Bowe. He is not nearly as polished as Bowe was, but his intent is still there. He also suffers from Bowe's lazy bad habits, but at this point, I still welcome him.
I really wish HBO would put on a heavyweight prospect tripleheader card so we can see what else is out there. Don't get me wrong I think Arreola can bang but I'm still not sold on him just yet and his weight is increasing after every fight which shows me that he lacks discipline. Jameel has lost his last 4 out of 5 fights and is at journeymen status at this point in his career. I seen from a few threads that Arreola should fight at least 1 to 3 fights before taking on the K brothers and I totally agree. We are gonna see what happens when Haye and Vlad meet because whatever the outcome I think it will be the same with Arreola either by early KO or a pummeling by Vlad. I do like Odlanier Solis who will be fighting Fres Oquendo if he gets past Robert Hawkins in the coming months. I'd like to see more of David Rodriguez who also shows promise. I think Chambers vs Arreola would be a good match up or even a Povetkin vs Arreola match would be good also, so we can see how well he handles a boxer that can adapt and still be fighting after they take 1 of his shots.
