Well there's always 2 possibilities... Go out proudly with a win... or go out sadly with 2 successive losses...

I heard a rumour that Michael Katsidis is/was being lined up as a final fight for Hatton in the UK.

Yep I've heard that too... That's why Katsidis in the list... That would be nice match up and Ricky might get that farewell win...

I voted Witter because i've always thought Witter deserved his shot but if im honest i wouldnt want it now as i would rather Ricky retire i don't want to see him hurt he should retire with his millions and family and friends.

I like a matchup vs Katsidis or Witter. They should be easier fights than Manny and Floyd

You got a point of not wanting a Hatton-Witter fight now... It would be a total disaster and embarassment for Hatton if he losses to Witter now... It would be like adding insult to injury...

Southpaws in general don't seem to be Hatton's forte...I wouldn't put him in with another power punching southpaw right after he got KO'd by one. Pacquiao gave a blue print that a guy like Zab Judah COULD use.

I don't think Hatton deserves a cupcake fight, but I wouldn't put him in with Judah, Mosley, Cotto, Berto, or anyone on their level.

Is Kell Brook an option I've never seen the kid fight but he's British and undefeated.

I swear it would be nice if he fought Ricardo Torres, a dangerous albeit limited fighter

I would love to see him fight Khan. It would also be a good indicator as to how good Khan really is. He's been saying he has been having the better of rounds with Pac in sparring.

That would be nice too specially if Khan defeats Kotelnik impressively like knocking out Kotelnik... What makes it more attractive will be the added 140 belt... Hatton could retire a champion...

Very valid point up there... PAC exposed further Hatton's vulnerabilities... Coach Roach was very graphic in describing how Hatton is so vulnerable to a short right hook after he cocks his left hand before throwing that punch... Fast southpaw boxers could take advantage of that...

I'm actually not too sure. Katsidis can punch and will be very confident. However he is one dimensional and if Ricky can take just a little of that Pacquiao defeat out his system he will be too good for Katsidis.

Glad to see his farewell fight will be in Manchester. I missed the Lazcano fight so I'll definitely be attending this. Manchester is only a half an hour drive from where I live.

It'll never happen, but Witter for me if he beats alexander. It would be an ideal fight for a title at 140 to go out on, but I don't think Hatton's ever been overly confident of a win with Junior.

I can't really see JMM wanting to bother now. Maybe Juan or David Diaz would be competitive for Hatton if they moved up.
