    Without his virginity floyd has nothing to brag about, especially losing from a lightweight.
    That's an interesting thought! At first read, I'm inclined to agree, But after a second thought, surely he'd still be able to get a fight with any of the top belt holders. Just not Pacquaio. A Floyd loss would virtually assure a trilogy for Marquez, but wouldn't end Mayweather's career. It would give him that "#1" he's looking to get back, only it would be in the wrong column.

    The double standard of Floyd Mayweather.

    Floyd gets ridiculed for beating Oscar and hatton and some even said he didnt deserve p4p number 1.

    Yet defeating Oscar and Hatton were the fights that "solidified" Pacquiao as p4p number 1?

    Floyd and PAC both get credits only that PAC gets MORE credits... Here's why;

    PBF favorite over Oscar and then won via SD12...
    PAC a heavy underdog against Oscar and then made Oscar quit after the 8th round...
    PBF favorite over Hatton and then won via TKO10...
    PAC favorite over Hatton and then KO'ed Hatton cold in the 2nd round...

    Am I missing something here? Did you just say there is a double standard? I just read Beat Oscar, Beat Ricky and you're you confirm you're #1 P4P.

    Some people like Floyd more than Manny and Some people like Manny more than Floyd. It's the same treatment it just comes from different people. Floyd's persona is a bad guy. Manny's Persona is a good guy. It's a classic match.

    Julius.... your quote of Mayweather being done, is just plain stupid... The guy has never been really hit with a damaging blow, never really been in a knock out drag out fight.. he is in his early 30's and is WAY under mileage, and one of the most cerebral fighters of the last 50 years, not to mention is blessed with physically tremendous gifts and abilities, but relies on his technical brilliance and ability defensive/offensive 1st and physical gifts 2nd. As much as you want your little hero to remain #1 we all know Floyd will outclass JMM and then Pac on his way to #1 and as much as you hate on Floyd it wnt change the outcome... You guys like to boast about telling us never to bet against Pac... I'm telling you, NEVER bet against Floyd PERIOD!!

    Julius, Floyd has never struggled or labored through a fight and has never shown to have an off night. The guy is 1000000000% prepared for every fight, mentally and physically. He also with 2 months to go has to lose a whopping 6lbs (he has been said to weigh about 150) judging by his latest press conference and the shape he was in, I would say he's dead on the money around target weight. Floyd is a gym rat and trains in obsessive compulsive fashion. You honestly think the guy has been sitting around for a year and a half?

    I mean really dude
