The only time (recently) that it was an easy fight to make, Mosley turned it down when asked, saying he was going on vacation or something like that. Which is fine, but it's asinine to state that PBF has been ducking Mosley for years etc. because it's simply not true.

The great thing about Pacquiao now is that he has as much pulling power if not more than Mayweather, so Mayweather might have to come close to 140 for Manny to fight him!

This is never going to happen, Floyd himself said, "I'm not going around chasing these fighters, they have to come to me. I don't need Pacquiao, my legacy is already great enough, Pacquiao needs me." It seems pretty clear to me that Mayweather is not going to come down to 140 for Manny.

He won the linear and ring championship from Baldomir and beat his predecessor Zab Judah before him. When did he have the oppertunity to fight Cotto? Cotto's defining fight was against Mosley, and that took place weeks if not a week before Mayweather-Hatton after which Mayweather retired. Margarito is obviously a joke, if he couldn't deal with Mosley's movement and defensive skills how would he land a punch on Mayweather? Let alone beat him... And no Mayweather didn't stick around, he went up to 154 to win a belt against Oscar De La Hoya who was arguably the best fighter at 154 at the time. Then he beat Hatton who people had wanted Floyd to fight for 4 or 5 years? Sure Mosley knocked out Mayorga, but that was in the twelth round, look at what Oscar did to Mayorga, and that was a better Mayorga.

Also its ironic, Thought Mosley had already moved up to 147, Mayweather was calling him out to fight at 135-140ish, and Mosley refused saying he was p4p#1, and that Mayweather wasn't worth his time monetarily.

I wouldnt listen to Floyd haters really. If Floyd had moved up and beat Cory Spinks who was the best at 154 they would have just said that Spinks was nothing special and he should have fought Oscar. It doesn't matter. People try to say the belts dont matter so you fight this guy and that guy but when Floyd fights and beats them they say "What about the guy holding the belt there" etc.

Floyd is the one who insists he is as great as the likes of SRL.

He also insists he is the 'cash cow' of boxing, which he clearly isn't.

He has avoided Cotto, Margarito and Mosley when they were all fighting each.

He still says he is the best P4P fighter in the world, like boxing was somehow frozen in time in his absence.

Says Mosley is not 'worthy' due to having 5 losses on his record. Gatti and Baldomir must have been lucky......or was it Gatti's popularity and a piss poor undisputed champ that swayed him?

These are my MAJOR beefs regarding Floyd.

You should understand that a fighter needs to call you out in order for you to duck them. Floyd was calling Mosley out when he was at the lower weights and it never happened. And No one was clamoring for Mosley to fight Floyd after he lost to Wright, or after he lost to Cotto or looked average against Mayorga. They ONLY started begging for it after Mosley stopped Margarito and Mayweather was already retired. So people need to stop acting like Floyd was ducking Mosley. As far as I know Cotto never tried to make the fight with Mayweather. When Cotto was taking step up fights against Zab Judah was when Floyd was at 154 and fighting Oscar De La Hoya and then he fought Hatton and retired. I've got to say I'm surprised with all these ESPN boxing interviews. I think GBP are behind this, they're doing everything they can to get their promotions more mainstream publicity. It's strange how suddenly Shane Mosley's next fight options have become worthy of national speculation and it does look like Mosley is just there doing a bit of promotion work. IIRC Oscar is friendly with one of the top executives at Disney who own ESPN. It's all good news for boxing anyway.

Pacquiao has not made a career of it, Nor did he decide that he would wait until there were probs in the Barrera personal life before he decided to make the fight
