Anybody that complains about the red card is just missing the point.

Very disappointing...we never even got close to scoring until Benny got in.

Bob Bradley has done an OK job when you look at what he did right after Arena got canned, but recently the boys just haven't been playing for him.

I would call Klinnsman or Rafa or whoever right damn now! We NEED a coach, we need someone who can get more out of our players who are talented but just don't work together very well. We should be able to afford a top of the line coach and to be honest if a coach was able to turn US soccer around he'd be a God and be able to get any contract he would ever want in any division he could ever dream of.

I was always a fan of Beasley but that's it for him, its gotta be, at least for awhile. He's gotta go back and turn it around at the club level and then maybe we'll see.

Please Cherundolo get healthy. I don't care if Spector's not a left back, either he or Cherundolo is gonna have to move there so we can get those two guys on the field and Bornstein off.

I'd be absolutely shocked by Rafa, no way, unless there were more problems between him and the owners. I would like Gus Hiddink but he's with Russia. Klinsmann, anybody really, Bradley must go I don't care what happens against Egypt.

DeMarcus Beasley and Eddie Johnson are the most FRUSTRATING players we have....it's ridiculous they are such gifted athletes but they just don't perform at times.

Actually though the United States took the only point off Italy in the whole last World Cup, how that happens I don't fucking know

US should at the very worst take 3rd. Good win over egypt and perhaps a point from either brazil or italy and who knows what might happen.

Gotta believe it`ll be brazil-spain in the final though!!

For anyone wishing to put a few quid on the next world cup however do not look past argentina or the netherlands!!!
The same Argentina that lost 6-1 to Bolivia? Not sure why anybody would pick them out of all the favouritues with the form they have been showing in qualification.

    Holland/Spain/England on the other hand....
England?? Lol come on mate there more chance of Gordon Brown winning the next election, England are shite, did you miss them against Spain in Feb? It was a massacre, Spain,Brazil,Argentina,Holland,Germany,Italy and France i would take over England everyday off the week.

I am seriously considering putting money on Spain to win the world cup, I had a sneaking feeling Barcelona were going to win the CL before the competition started but thought after the Chelsea match that I was lucky since Man Utd were going to beat them and look what happens. So do not want the same regret again.

To get through to the second round the United States had to somehow have this happen, Brazil had to beat Italy 3-0 and we had to beat Egypt 3-0

    Final Scores

    Brazil 3- Italy 0
    U.S. 3- Egypt 0

    Bahahahaha.

That makes me feel a bit better about the tournament, in retrospect we've now hammered Egypt who are not a bad side and were playing to get into the second round (they were in a much better position than us obviously) and we really didn't play bad against Italy, we were just a man down for about 60 minutes.

The Brazil game was a debacle of nightmarish proportions, but meh, they're pretty good.

BTW John Harkes is a fucking idiot.

although it has to be said Italy looks to have some issues at the moment.

the horns are annoying, I guess that will be the theme song of the World Cup.

The US needs to focus on Spain, they aren't unbeatable but we will have to play PERFECT just to hang with them. Our guys are missing the point if they think they have accomplished anything by beating Egypt and Brazil beating Italy 3-0....they still have to prove themselves against the best.
