Default Why am I not seeing all those posts that Pacquiao is too small?

Before Pacquiao's fight with Hatton, everyone was saying Cotto and Mosley are too big, now all I see is how unfair it is for Pacquiao to ask for a catch weight. Where are all the predictions that Pacquiao won't have any power at 147 or he won't be able to take a punch from a fully grown welterweight. (grunt.... I mean middleweight)

Its just one more lame excuse after another.

yup, never heard people questioning why cotto and mosley are picking on the smaller man. maybe they're starting to believe that pac although the smaller fighter is good enough to beat these bigger guys, or they just hoping pac get beat up in a division he doesn't belong to.

Will this be for the welterweight title also? Or just a regular fight?

Pacman is copying Julio Cesar Chavez. Chavez fought a weight drain Whittaker for his WBC welterweight title.

I guess Pacman wants to take Cotto's welterweight title the same way also. the Chavez-Whittaker fight was also at 145.

I know you explained this to me before, but i see nothing in the JCC/Pernell Whitaker fight. That led me to believe Pernell Whitaker was weight-drained, and Pernell Whitaker is one of my favorites and i've seen all his championship fights. Aswell as most of his early fights.

But he was great that night, i don't see how he could of been weight-drained, and if he was thats the best i've ever seen a weight-drained fighter look.

too be honest although i am a fan i thought Pac was too small for ODLH and too small for Hatton and i think both them guys seen manny as an easy payday... but like me they were wrong.

look what he did to Hatton... Cotto is big and powerful and if you told me about this fight happening last year i'd have said you were crazy for even thinking it.

Just goes to show how great Manny Pac really is

FIGHTHYPE \\ DE LA HOYA ACCUSES TOP RANK OF PROTECTING PACQUIAO

Even ODLH is threatened by the fact that PAC really has a big chance of beating Miguel, because if not he would not feel this way. Oscar think of it this way when you moved up to middleweight to fight B-Hop did you went straight to him? No you fought Sturm and was it a clear win? No If it wasnt for the Sturm robbery you wouldnt have a 6th division championship. My point is you can't face the most high risk opposition immediately. Considering this is PAC's vying for 7th divsion championship.

Oh come on!, This is tongue-in-cheek right?

This is obviously a Promoter facade. I know he is "Oscar" (ok, lame...) no, but seriously, Oscar is one of the smartest boxers on the planet. Now, could you imagine him saying this to Al Berstein or a Jim Lampley with a straight face?

There is no way he (ODLH the boxer) thinks Cotto is an easy fight.

In the back of my mind me too.

Pac / Hatton happened so fast and was so exciting, I actually forgot what Hatton's ring weight was. Does anyone remember?

Ring weight was 152 lbs., 5 pounds more than PAC.
