Quality result. We outplayed the Aussies over a fair chunk of that match. Great bounce back from a mediocre first test!

Flintoff and Strauss were the cornerstones for me.

To be fair the bowling yesterday afternoon and evening was nothing short of a calamity and but for freddie (again) we would of completely F`d this up.

Australia pretty much rely solely now on ponting and clarke over and over again and if you can get those guys out youve always gotta chance of victory. Clarkes innings yesterday was one of the finest peices of batting your likely to see and he almost did the unthinkable.

Without a fully fit brett lee and an on song mitchell johnson i just dont see where australia are gonna get 20 wickets from and as long as the likes of bopara, pietersen and cook can get their act together and of course we can keep freddie fit i see england taking the series 2-1 with the last test being a dead rubber
    one dangerous horrible bloke

Yeah, I was a bit over enthusiastic. Looking back there were some really crappy patches. The collapse in the first innings and yesterday afternoon like you mentioned. All in all it puts us in with a fair chance now though. Should be interesting.

I think I'll stop with the cricket predictions. Actually no I won't. I confidently predict that the Aussies won't fold as disastrously as they did anymore and will revert to type, eventually beating England. So hopefully I'm wrong and we win the Ashes.
