Certainly shocking but once the coroner report came out things got interesting. If it is true (which I have no reason to doubt), then that is very sad for his wife who obviously has been going through a lot.

It's fairly cut and dry... He hit himself multiple times in the back of his own head with a blunt oblect and strangled himself with a purse strap. It's a textbook case

THey say now that he would have hung himself, according to the report but answer me these questions:

    1) no rope or nothing found on his body neither on his neck (as far as I know, these objects do not disappear once the guy dies) when they first found him, it was claimed to be a suspicious death at the time. Because when they found the body, there was nothing around his neck, nothing tied to the roof or nothing, just gatti dead in his bed apparently with strangling mark around his neck. Now, they say that they found him hanged... which doesn't match with the first stuff His wife said to have found him dead lying in the bed and didn't notice it before. Sorry but when a guy is dangling on a rope, you do not assume he's trying to have kinky sex David Carradine's way. These versions totally do not match and are totally at the opposite from each others.

    2) the many contradiction that Maria Rodriguez did during her questionning

    3) that she spent 10 hours with him in the same luxury room without noticing that the guy was dead when the guy now "dangles' from a rope tied to his neck.

    4) whhy would somebody assume that he's been chocked with a purse in the first time if he was hung and not have, by any measure, mentioned he was "hung" and that suicide was evaluated instead of "it,s a murder and tryiung to define how many persons are implicated?"

    5) why would somebody go assist to a wedding to suicide just before it? It doesn't make sense.

it doesn't take a genius to see that something doesn't work here.

...It makes it even more strange now that their story is that he was suspended... She spent 10 hours with Gatti's dead body swinging from the rafters not knowing he was dead?

This has legit angered me. This is a blast to Gatti's name and a slap in the face to his family. It's apparent that either the police that initially showed up or the ones coming forward now... That someone is lying. If that's what's going on... Why?

There is way too much dodgy shit going on... Something's not right here.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see this is a murder...

Apparently Brizilian police work has a bit to be desired

Nice touch by the police to hold her till their check arrived.. err, till they completed their investigation ..

Hmmm... obviously I don't know the full details/injurys etc... but if what I have heard is true then surely there are better ways of killing yourself than drugging yourself, stabbing the back of your head and then hanging yourself?

Fair enough you want to kill yourself... but you wouldn't torture yourself first would you?

Apparently Brizilian police work would lead you to believe that... yes... yes you would

Why is there virtually no information about this... All in all they've released virtually nothing...

Not necessarily, it sounds like a lot of the 'fact's printed in the first week were incorrect.

I'm sure those actually involved in the autopsy and investigation know better what really happened than us reading scanty internet postings.

I sure as hell don't know what happened but it's a terrible tragedy for his wife if she is completely innocent after all.

As for not noticing him for 10 hours, maybe she was asleep, maybe they had had a row and he'd gone into one room and her another.

It's possible. I knew a lad a few years ago who killed himself by setting fire to himself in his bedroom. His mum and sister were in the house, and didn't notice until the next day. He had covered himself in petrol and where he lay becuase of the heat it had burned through the floor leaving a hole.

I just watch the news here in Montreal and the family has confirmed they are going to exhumed the body end they hired what is known to be the best in the domain to perform a second autopsy. The family completely reject the suicide scenario.

I hope they put a hit on her in the 3rd world country. If you can buy the police off, you certainly can buy a helluva hitman.

once again people are jumping to conclusions when there is so little of the facts in the public domain.

No. No. I'm sure she had a lot of anal sex as well. She's 23 looking at life in prison in a foreign country. She would of fukked the whole judicial system to avoid that punishment. And I'm sure she did. I'm almost positive the reason she wasn't immediately released was due to her inablity to currently walk
