And this is precisely why you don't punch strangers in the balls.

Gutted about the delay. I'm off to the Murray Thaxton fight and was really hopin to be watchin this fight when i got back home on the night. Only the other day I was saying to my brother that it seemed like quite short on prep time for such a large fight. I think its unsurprising that its delayed, just kind of the same as the Lacy Calzaghe fight when they announced early and then thought woah, hang on, we could do with a few more weeks here. Williams isn't a huge ppv name either yet so will need a little more selling to max out the ticket sales i would think.

Yeah, let's hope it's just been postponed. I have to agree with some others who think this might be Kelly's way of getting out of this fight all together.

Kelly is just coming off as an unprofessional clown

    1) He has allegedly been a drunk

    2) Allegedly getting into barfights

    3) Blowing off doctors appointments.

Where ther is smoke there is fire, tired of giving Pavlik the benefit of the doubt. Seems like the Bhop lost unraveled him a bit. I doubt kelly has the fire anymore to be a great champion, kinda how Taylor turned out

    damn!
Aren't those guys your favourite fighters frank ?

I think Williams has got this if he uses lateral movement and uses his workrate to his advantage.

Williams chin is certainly going to get tested though.

yes which is why im a bit upset that its gettin rescheduled. I picked Paul by UD his workrate will win it. Dont know wats going on with Kelly he seems to be having some trouble lately. Cant count Kelly out though his power is for real at 160.

Marley has a point Michael Marley's Boxing Confidential News, Analysis, and Commentary, Pavlik needs to get out of Youngstown and spend a few months training somewhere else. Even if you give him the benefit of the doubt in the recent media accusations against him, it is fair to say that he has only fought once in the last year and has not appeared to be the hardworking professional he once claimed to be. He should take a few months and train in Vegas or Big Bear. Anything less than training one hundred percent against Pwill spells disaster...and even that may not be enough.

Pavlik seems to have a few isues. But I think some are going a little overboard. He might need more than a plan A againt Williams though. Williams is a bit of a freak, my kind of fighter.

Pavlik does need to suck it up a little. Either be a fighter, or stop. He's been out so long now that it's getting a bit weird. Just fight dammit and stop being a poof.
