Sorry to rain on your parade mate, but decimal odds include the stake. So have amended your figures and smiley.

Hahaha, my stupid mistake, apologies to Hammer duh!!!

2.88 is actully 15/8 so 11/4 is much better!!! Pass the dunce hat to me

I just cannot see see Haye beating him. I'd love him to, but how can you beat a guy when you can barley reach his face!?

Valuev is just too much of a monster and not a slow one either. He has a good work rate for a big guy.

I think it's a step too far for Haye.

Haye will win one way or the another. Valuev has aged significantly, he will put a better performance than he did against Holyfield but he has been wobbled and Haye has speed and power. Haye will stop late in the fight.

    ive seen bigger

pretty sure paddypower had him out at 11/4 at one point. Ignore all hayes bullshit about needing a knockout, haye will quite happily run rings around valuev for 12rounds without over commiting himself which is what i fully expect to see happen
Haye does have to worry about the judges, especially in Germany, and remember what happened to Holyfield against Valuev. Haye will try for the KO but not all costs.
Most definitely, I was there the day Lucas lost to beyer... it was an outrage seriously, even the german next to us couldn't believe Beyer did win the match.

Valuev clubs, plain and simply, I could picture him as a lumberjack getting tree down, more than as a boxer actually. The thing with him is his massiveness, I wonder if working the body on him has any chances of success at all if you do not weight 230 pounds.

I am anxious to hear about this fight or catch it on youtube...I wonder if Haye gaining weight means a better chin or if he's naturally chinny. I wonder how Valuev takes his punches. I wonder about Haye's stamina. I wonder if Haye can be in an exciting heavyweight fight since he always b*tches about them being boring.

And I wonder if Haye gets called out for anything he does wrong, I wonder if our Brit buddies give him a pass if he loses or looks bad, seeing how this is quite a step up from Monte Barrett

Part of me wants Haye's career stopped here....but another part wants me to see him acheive success only to be systematically destroyed by Wladimir Klitschko.

I think Haye tries for the KO early, doesn't get it, gets wobbled or maybe even floored a couple of times, and then does EXACTLY what he complains about and plays it safe and he wins a close decision.

For me Lyle, I don't think there are any passes for Haye in this one, he's talked too much big talk and been too offensive to Klitschko, and latterly Valuev to possibly get a pass.

And in terms of working to a decision, I just don't think that can happen, we saw what happened in the Holyfield fight, Haye has to at least have Valuev reeling or going down to win a round in Germany. If he tries to box for a points win he will lose.

KO or nothing for him I'm afraid.

What the funk is Lyle doing on the UK board?

That's got to be a bannable offence, yes?
