I think you guys are overestimating the 'robbery'

The first 8 or 9 rounds ok Froch looked awkward but what did Dirrell do apart from dodge punches?

It WAS a close fight imo, kind of like the first Sam Peter James Toney fight.

Dirrell was techinically much better and landed the better shots, but about three quarters of the fight was Froch pressing which obviosly is worth something.

The point was bullshit though, not sure if that affected the scores, I dont think it does as Froch had two 115-113 but it shouldnt have happened.

Dirrell can leave feeling he gave a good performance but too timid, Froch needs to work on a LOT though and can count himself very lucky tonight.

Dirrell is a CLASS ACT in the post fight interview though, I really hope he can bounce back from this.

Let's not make this into a uk judding thing, shit happens in the us other every weekend too, otherwise we'd have nothing to talk about half the time. I was watching on a shitty stream but looked like dirrel was outboxing froch for most of the fight with ease, and laid the leather on hard the last two rounds. Froch is getting brutalized by abraham or kess, they got chins to match their skill so they won't have to "run".

    seriously?

From what I saw (admittedly on the internet) - Froch throwing punches, Dirrel getting on his bike and then holding when there was anything that looked like action.

I didn't think Froch was good and Dirrel looked good in places towards the end of the fight, but thought it was a clear Froch victory?

Swing and miss is more your style, huh?
To be fair, Froch probably landed over 50% of the 4,000 rabbit punches that he threw to the back of Dirrell's head.

WOW.... Hometown advantage for sure, Dirrell gets a point deduction without a warning, Froch gets warned multiple times and no points. I was not a fan of Dirrell before this but he made Froch look like an amateur, Andre was quick, accurate, great footwork and deserved this win.

What a load of biased shit. I cant give a man a win who doesnt land 4 punches the whole night. Even? Idiot.

dirrell is very very humble, all credit to him. He will gain alot more fans from that speech than any trash talk. All props to him, and i think he will beat abraham!

I wouldn't call it a robbery, but from a judges perspective I would be less inclined to give someone a round for holding as much as he did.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

I thought Dirrell won this close.Froch sat ouside and pizzed it away with a guy who looks tagable.Only thing worse than a fleet of foot guy is one who who proves he can hurt opponent but waits all night and keeps his hands in his pockets.

I can see the judges might be divided like in Toney Peter 1, some favouring the better punches from Dirrell and others
yea that must be it the fact that it was in Froch's hometown had no role in the decision what so ever guess they were just into rabbit punches and holding and hitting

fuck Carl "The Fraud" Froch and fuck Andre "Sea-Biscuit" Dirrell, both fought like bitches especially given the magnitude of the attention given to the tourney everyone involved in this "fight" should be ashamed, fucking robbery, sorry but Dirrell fought like a bitch and Froch fought like a dirty fucker, fuck them both and i'm looking forward to seeing them get knocked the fuck out
