Berto is young and fast but mosley is a veteran, fast and a lot more savvy. I never thought mosley was that good at 154, but he has really impressed me at 147. Berto is a good up and coming fighter and I think he could be a contender in the future, but I think Mosley will take the guy to school. Mosley has been in there with the best of them and Berto isnt ready for what he brings to the table quite yet.

He outside game is a one-two? Hardly, Berto throws amazing combinations from the outside, and most importantly he has a real jab while Mosley doesn't. Berto's biggest problem is he doesn't move well and he when starts to brawl he squares up(probably from watching too much Mike Tyson, but at least Tyson moved to the side). Mosley's biggest problem is that he's choppy, and doesn't box like a technical boxer, but he also can't do the amazing physical things ROy JOens and Mayweather can do despite his speed and strength, but Mosley's durability, speed and strength give him a unique oppertunity to load up on punches and get away with it, he has pretty good defensive skills, but he doesn't need to because his chin is impenetrable, and he is very fast so he gets away with most of his mistakes against most opponents.
Good point. I think the difference between those guys is that Floyd and Roy dont like getting close like Mosley. Whilst they go into defensive mode and look for counters Shane feels that he is stronger than his opponent and so he wants them to feel it. If he got on his bike like they did, he would be sending out a message that he didnt feel that pyhsically strong but by standing his ground Mosley is saying " I aint going anywhere "

From the looks of the Mayorga fight one could think Berto would pull the upset here. Shane looked great against Margarito. But Berto is younger, faster and puts his punches together a lot better then Margarito does. Berto stands a much better chance of beating Shane then Margarito ever would. But then you'd watch Berto against Urango etc and say Shane should spark him. But I don't know, if they fight I can see Berto winning, I think Shane can too which is why if Mayweather comes up then Shane WILL fight him. Shane will only fight Berto if he absolutely has to. Otherswise big money payday for him

Berto's chin will not hold up against Mosley.

    Mosley in 7

The only way Berto survives is to run or hug for dear life in stink fest where the crowd boos Berto.

ring experience alone makes berto the underdog.. i think mosely will give him a run for his money..if im not mistaken somebody caught berto cold on one occassion and sent him on his behind on the first round.. not sure who it was tho..

I know Cosme Rivera dropped him on ESPN, maybe in the 9th round (somewhere in the middle rounds)?, but it was just a flash KD.

He's probably thinking of Collazo who had that good straight left early in their bout that put Berto stumbling into the ropes before he regained balance.
