Honestly, it's always hard to say as time has a way of somewhat discrediting certain fighters... but I'd have to say fairly high. I have written long soliloquys on this forum about not likeing Floyd and him avoiding certain guys and what have you but he's fought most of the best guys out there and won against all of them.... dispatching them... I'll say that many were boring after leaving 130 because he seemed so dominant but I've needed to look past my dislike for him to see that whether it was a ko or a points win... he always won in ways where you KNEW Floyd clearly won. Floyd fights in such a deep era in at this time that you'll always hear, "He needs to fight _____ to get my respect" Yatta Yatta Yatta... I've done it myself. But the fact remains that NO ONE has beaten him and we've all at one time or another probably bet against him. He's proven me wrong time and again. He is one of the best defensive fighters of all time. He'll get high marks. He's earned them. PS. I hate Floyd Mayweather![]()

pac will be givin more credit for beatin mayweather.if mayweather beats pac, yeah people will make excuses. but fuck that, there pretty much the same natural weight, and pac has iced opponents that mayweather has gone longer rounds with or decisioned. no need too name names. so i think its a level playing field. if one fighter beats another it puts them automatically in the top ten, no question
Mayweather won't get that much credit if he beats Pacquiao knowing that Manny is not even a true welterweight. Manny is a lightweight fighting bigger guys imo. I mean, they had to feed him 6 meals a day 2 weeks before he fought Cotto for christ sake.
If Floyd beats Pacquiao, Mosley, and PWill in 2010,.. I'd defo put him in top 20 ATG.
beat PAC then kayo the linear champ at 160 lbs and tko a titleholder at 168 lbs who is at least the 2nd best super middleweight at the time. then I'd place him number 1 ATG. That's the only way PBF could macth PAC's accomplishments IMO.

Alright my question is that you say Manny is a blown up Welterweight but apparently he wasn't blown up to the point where it took anything away from him as he's been nothing but dominant. So why is he allowed to be effective against Cotto, Hatton, and Oscar, but if he loses it's because he is too small? When if he wins its extraordinary win and he is one of the greatest but when he loses its cause size caught up with him?
Manny Pacquiao was a skinny 17 year old teenager, fighting at the lower weightclasses, so him putting on 30 pounds in 13 years. With the right training and of course because Manny Pacquiao is amazing himself, i'd say Manny Pacquiao at 142 or ETC is about his peak weight now.
When Floyd Mayweather Jr was a teenager he was a Featherweight, plus when he fought ODLH at Jr Middleweight the max he coud get up to was 150.
Floyd Mayweather Jr isn't that much bigger than Manny Pacquiao IMO, and if Manny Pacquiao can take Miguel Cotto's best shots, and destroy Ricky Hatton in such brutal fashion, he is certainly no blown up Lightweight.
Im pretty sure they fed him that amount due to the intensity of the training they were doing so that he wouldnt burn out. The same Ariza is doing with Amir Khan... 6000 calories a day (supposedly), do you think Khan is too small for Junior Welterweight and they need to feed him that much so he can make the weight? Isn't it just the proccess they've got going on in their camps. Saying Mayweather shouldnt get alot of credit if he wins is stupid.
