Not even when he was at 130 did he add that much weight from the weigh in to the fight. Mayweather has never been recorded gaining more than 3 pounds between weigh-in and the pre fight weigh-in, and that was against Baldomir. Mayweather came in at 146 with absolutely no problems against Juan Manuel Marquez, why would anyone think he wouldn't make the welterweight limit? Mayweather maybe weighed 4-6 pounds more than Marquez, but not anywhere near to 20 pounds. The only difference in their size was his height which was an inch or two.

Well according to the article.

So if we assume that this is true and Floyd agreed to the missing weight penalty, I don't think a drug screen is too out of order.

Also, of course Mayweather was significantly bigger and stronger then Marquez. When Marquez fought Juan Diaz, it was completely obvious to pretty much everyone that the physically stronger man in the ring was Diaz.
