i dunno mate he has been faultless for over a decade now, hasnt come up short once and even though it was a shot lewis was still in many peoples eyes winning that fight all them years back.
My 1st ever viewing of vitali klitschko was when he fought herbie hide in britain and hide was trash talking about his family members. Vitali wasnt a happy boy in the pre fight press conference and well we all know he took out his frustrations when they finally got it on in the ring
one dangerous horrible bloke
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo !

Better question: Is Kermit Cintron a hall of famer?
I totally go with you on that one.... you cannot dismiss the accomplishments of the guy with the highest K.O rate in the history of the HW, especially when he's been flawless for more or less a decade. So based on these, yeah, I think he deserves the hall of fame.

That's the way it is, not the way it ends
Vitali is a sad case yet simple case. In short the hall of fame is based on what you've done not what you were capable of. Therefore Vitali will not get in the hall. Vitali fought in an era where there wasn't a long list of names to put on your resume. And heavyweights have less leverage because they can't move to another division to look for competition or big names. He can't fight his brother and he never got the Lennox rematch so Vitali was left feasting on guys like Corrie Sanders, Sam Peter, and Chris Arreola, which by the way are his best wins. This isn't enough. In hindsight, Vitali had to finish against Byrd and get a victory over Lennox. There isn't enough ahead in the heavyweight division for Vitali to reasonable add to his resume especially considering his career is twilighting. Its sad because Vitali has the ability to be a major factor against great fighters and easily make it into the hall of fame but his options were extremely limited.
Well one thing is for certain, his case is stronger now than it was in 2007 when the thread was started.
He has come back to win a world title for the second time, and has completely dominated all of his opposition.
He only needs a defining fight to make it in now imo.
It's kind of hard to say whether he deserves to be there ahead of his brother, but as between them the Klitschko brothers have dominated the heavyweight scene for the last 5 years or so it's really not easy to say they no longer deserve to be there.
If Vitali (or Wlad for that matter) were to get wins over the most credible opponents, I'd say Povetkin and Haye, then they would merit consideration then I would say.
If Wlad and Vitali fight each other, then the winner should get into the hall of fame![]()
No. He lost his biggest fight, good effort but still a loss, he quit in arguably his second biggest loss, and now it seems he's ducking Zuri "The Omen" Lawrence.
If he beats his next opponent then I'd say yes, he's a hall of ffamer.
Keep the hall clean... no need for an admitted roid user like Vitali
