This is a parking spot for old 'this weeks votes' threads and other threads that cover the entire ranking system as opposed to a specific weight class.

Ok gentlemen, looks like the rankings are moving along pretty well. I was thinking that for the potential pool entries I could open it up to the committee a week before and ask for nominations (if there are less than 5 pool members)
For example this week I would ask for Light middleweight pool entry nominations each manager would get to do 1 nomination per week, 2 if it's your weightclass this is optional to put forth a nominee, not a requirement. The following week we would vote on those nominees. If you guys like this idea, I will do it that way otherwise I will continue doing it the way I am doing it now.

Currently it's all voted on by the committee, we could amend the rules so that a victory by a pool member would automatically count as pool verification.

Greg, I love the way your running things now. Sorry I haven't been able to contribute as much lately. I'm happy to put forward nominations for my divisions when the occassions arise but I'm not sure how many others would...

One other thing, I just read your other thread about a pool member being victorious counting as verification & I'm all for that. The thing I'd like to add would be if an unranked defeats a pool member or a ranked fighter in another weight-class I feel it should automatically qualify them for the pool... what are your thoughts on this?

I agree with that, but I think we should vote to see if the defeated remains in the pool. to be honest with my trip coming up, I'm gonna be a little limited on time myself. Just so everyone knows I will probably be unavailable for two weeks from 4/25/10 to 5/8/10
