well first off lets compare mandatory's here
Haye - Ruiz, and next up Valuev...again
Wlad - Chambers (already a step above Ruiz), Rahman (was pure crap but was beaten just as that), Thompson (only had one defeat and it was a lopsided fight, that ended by KO), Chagaev wasn't a mandatory neither was Ibragimov, last mandatory was Austin which was a gimme after facing, Peter, Byrd, and Brock back to back
Vitali - after a 4 yr retirement came back and beat the shit out of Peter to snag the title, then fought mandatory Gomez (won pretty easily), gave a onesided beating to then undefeated Arreola, and then beat up Johnson, and well is now set to beat up Sosnowski
position doesn't mean shit, it just further proves that Haye is where he is more due to his mouth than his actual "talent", once people start demanding he backs up what he says, he'll either get whooped or flat out quit, which he's already planning on doing with his 2 more and out![]()
Fuck me take them fucking glasses off mate them tinted ones Johnson was a mandagtory and Sosnowski hahah has to be the worst title challanger in a long long time he was due to fight fucking Audley Harrison last week, but I don't see you bitching about that pathetic excuse of a defense, but Haye he gets the full force.
In my opinion the only reason why Haye went after Valuev was to get the WBA title to give him more say at the negotiating table. He's in a lot better position now to when he first started having talks with both Klits. He felt (rightly or wrongly) that he wasn't getting a fair deal and to be honest the Klits had every right to make those demands because even though Haye was the WBC, WBA and WBO CW champion he was a nobody in the HW division. He now has something they want and he (supposedly) wants to fight them both. I can't see any problem with that. His 4th fight at HW after Bonin, Barrett and Valuev was a mandatory which he had to take as Ruiz stepped aside for Haye to fight Valuev. After all that he's still getting people criticizing him....why? Lets just wait and see what happens over the coming months before we all jump on the hate Haye bandwagon. You don't have to like what he does out the ring, I don't like it myself, but he's brought some long over-due excitement to the HW division and that can only be a good thing for the sport!!
I'm not the biggest fan of Wlad but he earned much respect from me on how he did this call out. I wish more boxers did it like that. Cut and dry. And clearly left the ball in Haye's court.
where the fuck in my post did i try to make Johnson and Sosnowski out to be credible opponents, difference is Vitali is nearly a decade older than Haye and IMO would still whip his ass just as easy as he did Arreola's, like you said who else is there to fight? Haye's the only other "name" available but his pussy ass wont step up to fight either of the Klitschko's
He's actually quite a like-able and articulate guy out the ring. How he behaved to get the Wlad fight, for me, was a little bit disrespectful and a bit tasteless. However I understand that's part of the sport and he certainly knows how to work the media and to be honest it did work. He got noticed and heard by actually doing very little. His performances since then have backed it up but he really does need a fight with one of the Klits soon otherwise he'll end up looking a dick. As for him pulling out of the Wlad fight I'm never too sure which side of the story to believe. Didn't Haye want the fight re-scheduled for 3 weeks later? IF he did have an injury then he did the sensible thing by not fighting. IF he did pull out for no good reason then I guess we'll find out how much of a pussy he is. Until that happens he gets nothing but respect from me if for anything making people talk about the HW division!! Is this the 5th page of a discussion about a HW/HW division?
Wlad has agreed to fight Haye in England and has said it publicly...On more then one occassion..
Maybe I stated it backwards on which brother had his fight derailed due to the injury but fact is Haye still pulled out of the fight and the after events happened...Does it really matter if he refused to fight one and over stated an injury to escape the other....
I said now some shit about...the 60/40 split and worded it the way I did because that was the latest rumor from the day going around different places...If it was something I knew for a fact as true I would have stated it different so If I made that sound as if I knew for fact my mistake for wording it that way...And I did not watch the video sorry mate...
Wlad is the bigger name world wide period...Don't know why you highlighted that....Wlad has had mainstream exposure...Haye is the bigger name in the UK...Wlad has hit the talk show circuit here in the US...Tonight show was one that made him known to non boxing fans in the US...His attendance numbers in Germany are a proven fact...50,000-60,000 for his last several fights....He is big is all the Russian based countries...Ukraine, Poland etc...
Wlad is considered the HW champion he holds the ring title and majority of ABC belts....That was highlighted why?...Who does not consider him the most talented HW out there?....In truth the only chance Haye has is he catches Wlad with something big and stops him...Wlad is bigger, Stronger, better all around boxer, better jab, hook, and defense....
As for chins neither's is great....But Haye has yet to be hit flush by a genuine hard hitting HW......So in the chin dept we will not even compare because both are shaky....
But I suppose you will comeback with a post that has
Wlad is bigger highlighted in bold regardless of the fact Wlad is 6'6 240 and Haye 6'3 220
Who was calling out the brothers first?
Who managed to find a way not to sign with Vitali?
Who had a sudden back injury so not to fight Wlad but was healed the day Wlad signed to fight someone else? Hours after.....
It has ZERO to do with money Haye is making...Haye is not making the money you are trying to make it sound....Haye made how much to fight Barrett? How much to fight Valuev? How much to fight Ruiz?
You act as if they are jealous because Haye is running the HW division and without him they can't get a payday....
Hell you act as if Haye is getting Tyson like paydays....
They don't need him...This has gone past titles, ranking etc...This has become personal..
Hell now Haye has become so desperate that he is trying to get the Klitschko's or make the public believe the Klitschko's need to fight each other before they deserve to fight him for his PAPER title....
Haye wants nothing to do with either...
This is a UK rag no?
David Haye says Klitschko brothers should fight each other | The Sun |Sport|Boxing
(though I don't know the credibility of the paper)
This'll happen sooner rather than later imo,, Booth starts at 50/50 but will probably agree less. Haye doesn'r really have much options considering most the guys like Chagaev/Arreola/Peter/Dimitrenko/Chambers/Povetkin (bread and butter shut outs for the Klits) are massive risks for Haye where he might actually be less than 50/50 against most, and I reckon he/Booth know it. IMO couple months negotiating and we should see Haye Klit next.
yea cause Vitali took on those 2 bums after beating the likes of Peter (while he was champion) and Arreola both were in the top 5 in the division, unlike Haye when he fought Valuev and Ruiz, another thing you don't hear Vitali running his mouth and claiming to be the greatest or even best HW in the world right now, he already took that claim before he retired and it's pretty obvious that he's well aware that his little brother is THE MAN in the division right now, fuck titles, the HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD right now is Wladimir Klitschko, not Vitali, not Haye
so until he finally steps up and accepts the challenge he'll be nothing more than a pussy who just so happens to own a paper title, its that simple
The big money from this fight comes from Britain and it's easier to sell the fight in Britain if it's a Wembley. German TV is worth a couple of million Euros as it's just on basic free-to-air TV. US TV is worth the same, maybe. No way HBO pay more than a couple of million dollars for it as only Showtime would concievably bid against them. So that leaves Britain. Haye-Valuev did near a million so this could do two easy. Half that goes to the fighters so they get to share $25 million from British PPV money. The total take should be over $35 mil, almost certainly both fighters would clear over $15 million each. When was the last time Vlad made that much from one fight? That means Haye is more than worth his 50%. If Junior really wants the fight he'l agree to 50/50.
