    I had a harder upbringing than that for God's sake... Though, he's just answering questions. He's not bragging he's had a rough life. This is hardly news worthy. I blame the journalist.

    Froch just answers the question. Being froch though no doubt by the next time i look up this thread he`ll be villified as an attention seeker

    i had my bike robbed when i was 15yrs old & i still aint emotionally recovered

    It's just a shame he didn't mention the gays he could have offended everybody then.

    Jesus that was bad sounds like he lived a pretty normal life for a kid in England, I like the way he kept pushing he didn't go to a private school as if the majority of kids in the Uk go to Private School .

    Apparently Jonny Tapia has been in touch with Froch and asked how Froch ever got through that childhood. Tapia said he could never have coped with such adversity

    In fact, so did Edison Miranda, Kassim Ouma, Victor Ortiz and a few others... Not sure what they could have said to console him, though.

    Just picture what it must be like for him though though - A city that has Blacks, Etnic minorities, Drug Dealers and even Bike theives - fair play to the guy for getting out of the hood and growing up so well adjusted

    Come on guys don't judge him, you don't what he had to go through living alongside black people and other minorites.

    First they took his bike, then as an adult another black man beats him up and makes off with his world title, thank God the British authorities were on hand to rule that he had to give it back.
