If Mayweather ko's Mosley all it means to me is that he needs to face Pacquiao and then we could really see who deserves to be in the top 10 p4p all time.

IMO it will be impossible for a modern fighter regardless of what they accomplish to become p4p #1 simply because there is too great an attachment to the greats of old, and the sport has changed (multiple belts in each division, fewer fights, a lot less hype for most fighters).
I think Pac has the greatest chance to become a top 3 all time, and it could be possible for Mayweather too. If Pac beat Floyd then won a 154 belt, it would be hard to argue against him being one of the greatest of all time. Similiar if Floyd beat Mosely, then Pac, then say Martinez at 160, all the time remaining undefeated, who could argue against him being one of the greatest of all time? I agree its hard for modern fighters to do but we have 2 with as much chance as any around at the moment.

It depends on how he stops him..well then no it doesn't. Because shane would have to be really getting his ass whooped for the ref to step in esp considering that shane's instinct is to immediately throw back whenever hit with something hard. So if shane is not throwing then he's getting his asswhooped. And if Floyd knocks him out cold, it'd be the most surprising thing in the history of boxing. A chronic hand problem non-kayo puncher knocking out one of the most durable fighters of all time. I'd almost say the fix was on.

Man floyd would never shut up..EVER!!!!

    He's without a doubt the #1 p4p best, and a sure ATG

Whether he stops Mosley or not. He will beat him.

    Sorry not enough options..

How about he's NOT p4p #1 (right next to pac-juice!)
He IS an ATG by Ko-ing Mosley and decisioning Oscar (has anyone else beat both of them?)

Floyd has no killer instinct, he will never knock Mosley down in a million rounds. It would take a lot of flush punches in a row to get Mosley off his feet

This will be a boring ass fight for sure. One guy wants to punch; one guy wants to squat and freeze like he's about to lay a ostrich egg. NazRich is right there will be a lot of adjustments being made, but the fight is going to go one way and that's at Floyd's pace.
