I guess this happened while I was out of town but I totally missed this, didn't even know it happened. I like Frankie Edgar but was pretty stunned to see this result. What kind of performance was it? Was it close? I heard he stuck and moved which is probably a good plan against BJ.

Penn looked awful, just did nothing. It was like watching Audley Harrison against Dominic Guinn.

Not sure if he was injured or unwell but he looked sensational againt Diego Sanchez and Kenny Florian, but he just did nothing in this fight.

Edgar deserved it but he looks like he weighs about 120 lbs and could be beaten up by Cyborg, the top woman fighter in Strikeforce

What's his name, Grey something, Grey Maynard I think manhandled Edgar, not like he just completely beat him up but he was just way too big and strong, just took him down at will. So he is a bit small. Maybe he's just a bad style matchup for BJ or he just had a bad night but I'm sure there are a lot of guys at 155 that would be much better served going up against Edgar. I like him though, good striker.

You can watch it there. Penn was just outhustled really, couldn't get off. Edgar though still belongs at 145. This opens the division up though and I'm glad.

Edgar did what he had do to in order to win: move a lot, use his speed in combo and circle to avoid Bj's big hand. I think that the prodigy just didn't take him seriously and got shocked by his speed and audacity to throw him on the mat. Personally I quite liked this fight, it was not explosive but there was lot of good tactics involved and though he was the smaller guy, Frankie did the hell of a job.
