For people who bitch about Wlad being boring a 2nd round DEVISTATING KO was a cracking end to that fight...I get it that people didn't like the build up towards the KO but the KO itself was pretty awesome.

Going to sound like a broken record but a hidden classic is Alex Stewart vs.Sinclair Babb.If you can find a copy,it's brutally worth it.
Andrew Golota vs Mike Mollo, think it was last year, was an excellent fight and kept me on the edge of my seat to the very last second.
I can think of quite a few good heavyweight fights, but they probably wouldn't be what you are looking for.
Most of the good one's I can think of were relative mis-matches, where one guy smashed the hell out of another guy.
I don't really remember a close fought, good heavyweight fight.
Rogan vs Sexton 1 was probably the best I can think of.
Even though it was a bit older.
Mesi - Jirov just too see if Mesi could hang on.
Barrett - Beck something about this fight I just liked it.
Maddalone - Minto
a little more recent
Adamek - Arreola
Wellllllll,,,,,,,,........... I just saw Evander and Botha live in Vegas.
It was actually a good fight and quite entertaining. There was some drama and a real question as to who would win. Now please remember Evander just fought for the WBO and then WBA titles in 07/08 against Sultan And Valuev so he still has to be considered a "real" top heavyweight.
Botha was the WBF champ and had fought for the interm and then vacant title and then defended it twice.
Botha looked strong at the start and landed strong clean shots that may have done more damage if Evander didn't take shots so well.. Evander battled back applying pressure with a good work rate. Bothas 250#'s seemed to play on him as the rounds went on and the always fit Evander wore him down for the victory. What a differance from the Evander I saw against Larry Donald. It was worth the trip to Vegas to see a legend fight and it was IMO a truly "good" HW fight.
NO
“If you want loyalty, buy a dog.” Ricky Hatton
Lewis vs Klitscko
Rahman vs Maskaev II
Brewster vs Lykovic

quite enjoyed the haye v barrett fight. barrett going arse over tit when entering the ring was entertaining
Toney Peter was decent and Toney won it. The rematch was awful though.
