I don't even have a favorite MLS team, its sad that you can draw a line from DC United to the KC Wizards and there are 0 MLS clubs to the southeast of those teams.

I think he's looked pretty good really. They lost to Tottenham 2-1 but he scored and they had the lead at halftime when he went out. Today they beat Man City (granted a weakened Man City but they still had Adebayor, Ireland, Hart) and he looked pretty good again although he didn't score and just played a half again.

You can say that the Red Bulls as a team are far more in form than Tottenham or Man City are which is totally true (although they didn't really play a full strength team either) but that doesn't really apply to Henry, this is kind of his pre-season too. He looks like a guy that could still play for most Premier league teams.

City looked pretty dire really. Its not like the Red Bulls countered a few times and won, they had a lot of possession. But most of that team will probably be sold or just not play.

A lot of the lads are youth players like Tutte, Nimley, Kay, Mee, Cunningham, Boyata etc, and the rest are waiting to be sold, with the exception of a few. We put a brilliant move together in the first 3 minutes but Jo balls it up at the end. It would have been a quality goal. It was played at a training pace at times, but then it would spring into an end to end game. It was fairly enjoyable as far as friendlies go.

Henry looked half decent, and Dane Richards scored a quality goal. Did Bridge like a kipper for the first goal aswell.

I'll always have a soft spot for Henry after he put in the finest display I've ever seen when Arsenal beat Leeds 4-0 at Elland Road.
He only scored 1, but he set up 2 others and generally tore Leeds a new arsehole.
24 Beers in a slab, 24 hours in the day.......go figure.

I thought Nimely looked ok but I guess he'd have a hard time working his way into the team.

Bridge looked awful. I know its just preseason but still. I loved how after looking like shit for the first 30 minutes or so the commentators (no idea where they found them, said utterly bizarre shit at times, kept on going on about Joe Hart making saves late into the second half when he'd already been taken out) all of a sudden blurted out "Bridge, SO much experience, SO much talent."

Hahaha, they confused Joe Hart with the striker Jo aswell a few times. Did it in the Sporting Lisbon game aswell.

They said Boyata would have his work cut out making the 25 man cut, even though he's under 21, so he doesn't have to be registered.

Bridge is terrible. Awful footballer, awful player. Truly awful.

To think Liverpool may want to buy Bridge is just sad.

Liverpool are looking at different left backs: Marcel Jansen, Reto Zeigler, and I think a few others.

I am sure you would, anyone with the lack of ambition to go to Chelsea and be a number 2 and collect fat wages and only left because his woman was getting knocked off by his best mate can stay at City.
