I'm personally rooting for a Boise vs TCU national championship...The AQ conferences will go ape shit and demand a playoff. Lots of hate on here for Boise. They can only play in the conference they have. Ranked teams don't want to play them in non-conf, they don't bring enough tv sets for them to ever get invited to a AQ conference and the only reason Notre Dame has the schedule they do is the absurd NBC contract which Boise will never be to get close to so that rules out going indep. Boise may not be a top 3 team this year but over the last several years they have shown they can play with the big boys and are not just a flash in the pan

Absolutely...I want to see the BCS go down in flames and the only way it happens is if Auburn and Oregon both have 1 loss and it's TCU vs Boise St. .....I like Boise St and all but TCU look legit they made Utah their bitch.

I don't understand the whole "We've got bowls because they make more money" that's bullcrap because a playoff system would make HUGE bank and you can always extend the playoffs and even make 2 sets of playoffs 1 for the top half of the top 25 and one for the bottom half of the top 25 kind of like the way basketball is set up with the NCAA and NIT.

I don't see any reason to get rid of the bowls. Make a top 8 playoff and use the 7 most prestigious bowls as venues and everyone else can still go to the lower tiered bowls.

The thought of college football should disgust me today, after all Alabama pulled off a monumental choke job and gave Auburn a win in our building. But then the clouds parted and even though its like 19 degrees it is no longer cold, the fraud that was Boise State just lost and all is right with the world. Amen.

Yes! I actually had a heated argument with one of my own tables at the restaurant last night over this and that was when they were up 24-7. WOOOOO all IS right with the world even if Cal kinda sucks.

My Aggies have won 6 straight and I have held gloating back b/c A&M has pulled some pretty classic choke jobs after building me up. Pretty pumped about playing in the Cotton bowl and hoping to get our fist 10 win season since 98. Bring it on lsu but I guess it could be Bama or SC.
