Animals are not ours to exploit....

Im glad Gerald McLellan is like the way he is I hope he is in sever pain everyday, Im glad he didnt die and suffers, I hate him.

    Wanker, he is.....
Its sort of contradictory that you are glad that he is a vegetable now... but that there is A and E there...

He used to fight dogs, and for his favorite fighting dogs he'd tie up other dogs and basically let his killer practice on them.

He was so into dog fighting he'd watch his dogs' fights before he fought to hype himself up.

I honestly 100% could not care less about what happens with Gerald McClellan, yeah it's nice that people still give him money to help HIS FAMILY get by but I hate the guy

And I don't care much for Roy Jones Jr. fighting cocks either....animals don't get anything from fighting each other, they do that to survive not for money or food or anything.
And I bet your life is a shining beacon and an example for all to follow by... don't judge others unless you haven't done anything wrong in your life... especially when you grow up in a world that had dog fighting you wouldn't even consider ethics... Its like bull fighting in Mexico... I could never see a fight it would make me sick, but there is a huge thing because thats what they are used to its their upbringing to be excited about it.
absolutely 2 completely different things!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dog fighting is BANNED IN THE U.S. FOR A REASON....it is unnessessary cruelty to animals!!!!!!!!!!!!! and serves absolutely no purpose except to satisfy bloodlust..........the Bull fighting is different....it is cultural and at the end they cook up the bulls and give the food to the poor....way different.....Get this correct......please....
IN the southern stayes Dog fighting is cultural... It may not have the history of bull fighting but its still something everyone does in a certian areas thus its cultural because thats what it means... Many things are banned that people don't care about others doing like smoking pot. Bull fighting is still cruel... it doesn't rectify what they do by cooking the meat of the bull because they still torture it far more slowly than a dog would die. I am not condoning either, but I am using it as an example if you grow up around people who are doing cock fights and dog fights then that will become part of your life... Your growing up environment affects you as much as anything else.

I live in spain i love the Spanish way of life however cannot quite get my head around the bull fighting. i have spoken to several of the younger generation who quite openly do not not agree with the 'sport' and is very heavily campaigned to stop it throughout my province. it is the older people who attend, the rings are half empy with only the die hards spurring the matador to kill, on average they kill 4/5 bulls a night and celabrate with fire works when the final one is killed. i dread when the season arrives and cannot wait for it to end. I donot agree that if your brought up around it you class it as normal Young Spanish people today are trying to ban this barbaric sport i for one cannot wait.

    Good for you bro!
The best part of a bullfight is when the fuc#$ing bull gets in the stand and starts kicking country a$$. I always root for the bull to kill the horrible fuc#$ing matadors. Horrible sport.

...fighters are human...humans need jobs for money, money for food, etc, so the boxers made a conscious decision to become boxers to pay the bills.

    big difference

Right... so Mike Tyson... other than boxing what the hell could Tyson have done? except ended up dead or in jail or dead in jail?

    Enviroments make people... not species...

alot of boxers can only box... its not on the same level as cock fighting... I just find it slightly amusing to see people rattling on about Roy Jones Jr raising and fighting cocks who pay a lot of money to watch two men batter each other about the head for a living.

Bad luck to him but i hate anyone who hurts animals in such a way, its bullshit. Animals shouldnt have to do that shit and its sick of anyone to do that.

Evironments and genes...they play a role too

Do you think Cus should have sent Mike to a boarding school? I mean I think if anyone truly applies themselves to learning they'll at least make progress.

Mike wouldn't do anything that would make him the kind of money he made in boxing but he would go through the day without getting smacked in the face.

At the end of the day Adam Mike Tyson made a choice and his choice was to make money and he'd make the most in BOXING

I like dogs as much as the next person but some of the stuff on this thread is wrong imo, like-

"Im glad Gerald McLellan is like the way he is I hope he is in sever pain everyday, Im glad he didnt die and suffers, I hate him."

To me thats way out of perspective mate

Yeah but we're talking about a guy who would tie up live dogs so they would just lay there and then he'd sick his pit bulls or rotties on them to massacre them.

In all honesty McClellan did get what he deserved, deaf, blind, scared...kind of like those dogs he tied up

In my eyes theres a big difference between a human life and any animal no matter how domesticated, intelligent or cute it is. Mclellan or anyone else doesnt deserve to be like he is

I don't rightly know about that...

McClellan was intentionally mean and coldblooded...you know of any domesticated animals like that which weren't TAUGHT to be that way?

I'm not saying animals are greater than humans, I just think dogs are better than Gerald McClellan

Fair enough we'll disagree, but i'll continue to doubt whether everyone who's criticised Mclellan on here would feel that harshly towards him if they spent even a short amount of time with him these days. I mean theres people on here who idolise Ibeabuchi, and yet Mclellan gets slated for abusing some dogs

I agree with you and have been debating this for days with everyone GERALD MCCLELLAN WAS WRONG FOR VISICIOUSLY FIGHTING DOGS PLAIN AND SIMPLE!!!! But he did not get would he deserved by being injured the way he is deaf, blind and constant care. The punishment did not fit the crime..

Anyone who celebrates his misfortune should make sure they live there life absolutely perfect and never make a mistake since some are swift to judge..I wouldnt want to wish that on anyone especially for dog fighting....C'Mon his kids have no real functional father.. Like I said LIVE PERFECTLY THEN.
