.... pac deserves everything he gets, who he fights and how he ranked etc has nothing to do with him. He just fights. I give the guy credit. He's the latest version of david who people have put all thier hopes and dreams into that he can beat floyd. All the ridiculousness and hype stems from that. I disagree, you think the only way to beat floyd is by being outboxed? That makes no sense. First of floyd is the best boxer out there and he is not going to fall into another boxers boxing ability. We have seen bits of ways to trouble floyd, you add it all up and it equals exactly what has made pac an all time great. Southpaw, speed, power, stamina, combos, counter hooks, foot work, endurance. And you think Floyd will win easy?

I'm telling you man, floyd knows he would have to go through hell to win. He knows this more than anyone, maybe even more then pacs camp. It will not be easy for both fighters. Now that pac has prove these big welterweights size are not troubling him, that makes it even harder for floyd because there goes the size advantage for floyd if he ever had one.

This is the biggest fight of this era. Floyd who is one of the greatest in this era saw something so impressive in pac, that he has comitted himself into the thought that pac cant be all natural. This is concern from floyd, he is doubting pac because pac have been impressive. He wouldn't suddenly want to make sure a fighter is clean if he wasn't so impress.

I am not saying floyd is terrified of pac but there is that concern that pac has installed in floyd. That alone tells you, floyd knows this will not be an easy fight.

I agree with Mar. If you knock him out or if you decision him; to beat Floyd you have to apply something that works 100% off the time otherwise Floyd will find something to expose and exploit.
Manny has a poor reach disparity in comparison to Floyd (67' to 74') plus Floyd is more than comfortale boxing of the back foot... Plus Floyd is a fucker for making his man think/ hesitate/ do the nunchuck shuffle () so unless Manny does a Ricky Hatton and leaves room in his mind for plan A only, he is gonna spend too long LOOKING for answers while Floyd is busy FINDING them.
The more i think about it, the more I see Floyd totally outsmarting Manny.

Floyd is the greatest of all time!

It was on ESPN a while back, and I knew the veracity sticks cause Teddy Atlas was vouching and confirming it.... Floyd Mayweather Jr., is an unbeaten fighter with lots and lots of money and undoubtably unmatched in pure greatness. The slickest of them all, and wisest/smartest boxing IQ in the planet... maybe add Mars, and Venus, they're close enough to Earth... He too, wins all "IF" scenarios, I mean... hypothetical ones, just throwing that in, just in case.

Pac has a load of fans because he is a world class fighter! I pay no attention to all of this P4P non sense but the long of it is Pac is fantastic.

As for Floyd, he gets a hard time for his fight choices unfairly no matter who he fights even if the public demands it after floyd makes it looks easy he is then told he was cherry picking.

Ive just been on The Ring Magazine site only to see Pacquiao is now at number 1 at welterweight and Floyd dropped to number 2 now tell me if im wrong Floyd beat the guy who had already demolished Margarito and Shane was considered number 1 when Floyd beat him now when Pacquiao beat Margarito 1 it was a light middleweight fight for the WBC light middleweight title and 2 Margarito wasn't even rated in the rings top 10 welterweight or light middleweight. I just find it crazy everyone is sucking his dick when what he did on saturday has already been done by Mosley and Williams its like he fights these guys who have already been demolished by others fighters then gets more praise than the other fighter who did it first.

Pacquiao is a phenomenal fighter. If you can't see that, objectively, then you're trying too hard to be critical. Is he a perfect boxer? No. Does he have flaws? Of course! Does that mean we should take every opportunity to point these out and deride his accomplishments?

• He seems a pretty humble guy, no trash talking, never disrespects an opponent
• He is a happy-go-lucky sould, always smiling
• He wants to do something for others, outside boxing
• He will fight anyone, any place, any time. No dodging opponents, no easy fights
• He is a fighter through and through, loves a good tear up and will trade with anyone
• he fights guys much bigger than him but never steals a fight. Stands in range and trades, but wins through supreme speed, guts and technique. Most of all, his fights are fought on the edge - his style is daring, and he lets it all hang out
• He is a great great figheter full stop

Tito - I wasnt criticising PBF ..... I was saying whay I quite like Manny Pac.

If we want to talk about mayweather:

- he is a bit of an arse, too much trash talking, plays the sport for his own benefit (just like Ray Leonard did)
- but he is a magnificent fighter, never undertrains, fantastic technique and unearthly reflexes. Showed a good chin and a fighters heart against Mosely. I rate Floyd as one of the best fighters I have seen too.

If they get it on, it will be the biggest and best fight (and a proper fight, not some media hyped 'event') since Hearns/Leonard.
