I read a BBC report that said 800,000 earlier in the week.

I heard David Haye say it sold 1 billion worldwide.

Not sure if I should believe him though

I'd say that number is way too low
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

    Value for money, eh
I didn't pay or intend to pay, thankfully, as I didn't get back in time to watch the Groves fight.
    800,000 would surprise me.

The BBC report I read actually said 700,000 sorry, but I have read somewhere since 800,000 (maybe the mirror or Sun). I think we can get the idea though from these 2!

I went and there wasn't a spare seat in the building and I think the capacity is just short of 22,000!

I think it was only the perfect storm of first fight in 3d and the Sky Sports hype machine that got the figures that high. They must have been paying pundits to say they thought Audley had a chance, but everyone who said it'd be a massacre was proved right.

Still, sounds like decent figures for a UK PPV though.

I don't even know anyone with a 3D TV yet so i'm not sure about that. Haye is quite a big draw and a lot of people WANTED to see Audley humiliated. I think a Haye-Klit fight would do over a million!

As for paying the pundits I agree! Anyone giving Audley a chance was being daft IMO.
