titleist905t,

Good performance...I think that a bit of his hometown shakes came in to play.
He did well though.

i doubt he can read tagalog I doubt his filipino...Originally Posted by mnmc10
I agree that he isnt as humble as he once was but he is still more humble than about 95% of other boxers out there...pac has so many people wispering in his ears that he can do no wrong thats its bound to affect him. but about not getting hurt i dont really think he was hurt, he was just caught by punch he dint see,,he just weathered Lario's storm and then went on the attack and i thought won the round.Originally Posted by titleist905t
I watched the bout on site. The Pac was good (though still lacking in a lot of ways) but I must give a lot of credit to Lariros.Originally Posted by Violent Demise
He was able to withstand a lot of the Pac attacks and fought like he was never hit. He had a lot of heart. After the match, he poured the champ with a lot of praises and didn't give himself much credit for the round where he almost had the PAC.
Overall, he fought well and was a real gentleman after the fight. The Filipinos cheered for the PAC but gave Larrios a standing ovation for being such a Lion.

I thought that Larios did quite well also...he lasted the duration & Pac seemed to respect that just as much as the fans & Larios did.

Overall I think fight was great, both fighters deserved to be applaud, give respect for Larios, showing lot of hearth and determination.I wouldn't mind to see rematch maybe after Morales fight. They are great for boxing more now when HW devision is so weak. I think Pacman did great job still need to improve his defense but on the end both fighters show lots of respect toward each other.
Yeah!all in all. The fight was great. Larios stood 12 rounds, a fighter with a big heart. And we Filipinos respect him.
But as of the question of this thread about the performance of Pac? This fight doesn't make sense to judge him. It's because Pac intentionally prolonged the fight, making the fight to have 12 rounds. He may KO Larios earlier but as of advertisement issues on Philippine television and the requests of VIP's on the ringside to prolong the fight(I have no evidence on this one but that is a rumor here in Philippines). That made no sense that we didn't see a real Pac on his best. But again it was a great fight and it was entertaining.![]()
