Horrible that. When I split with my partner I wanted the kids to be with me as I thought (and still do and always will) that was for the best, she was never what you call a natural mother. To begin with we shared care of them but it soon fizzled out, she would find any excuse to not see them. In the end I said fuck you they are staying with me we'll sort it out in court. Months past and she didnt bother seeing them and I got a parental responsibility order (never married) and that is that. Until they are old enough to make their own choices or a court decides otherwise they will stay with me. Its been hard work along the way, what is hardest is being the one to pick up the pieces after their Mum lets them down on the day she is supposed to take them out, somehow it is my fault.

If I were you I'd have a word with your cousin. If she thinks that she will be able to waltz back into the childrens life at a more convienient time for her then think again. Provided the father doesnt make a really bad job of looking after them they will remain with him for as long as he wants them.

I hear ya, My brother is going through this. He had two children with his wife and they decided for him to get a Vasectomy, So he went on through with the procedure. She later got pregnant by her previous ex. But he forgave her and was their for his birth, He truly loves him has his own and has raised him likewise. But now the mother and him are divorced and he was fortunate enough to get custody of all three. But she had them first but was unable to raise them because of her chronic use of crystal meth. So at first he was giving her child support and she was smoking it up, So he got a lawyer to get him custody of his three, and he now works 60+ hours a week to provide for them. She don't pay any child support. She ran up the credit card to twenty grand and done other dum shat.... All she does now is smoke and get fucked....... Some hoes just need a good ole a** beaten.

Mate i sympathise with you cos its you that has to pick up the pieces. My best man at my wedding has the same situation. He has his two girls from a previous marriage. The ex wife seems to let them down willy nilly and its him that wipes the tears from their eyes. They are two gorgeous girls and he adores them.
