I have been doing boxing for 5 weeks and i have a question that was never answered in my gym. The question is when you are throwing the jab cross where shud you hit the opponent when you throw the cross I know when throwing the hook you shud hit the temple but when throwing the cross I dont know where to strike is it the forehead, chin where?

You mean a straight cross? yeah?

Depends on where his head is facing to at the time. side is preferable.

Never try to hit his forehead if his head is turning towards you, go for the chin.

If you cant read him yet; be safe and go for dead center.
