Khan would smash Murray to pieces. especially at light welter.

I would like to see Murray stop at 135 and see if he can get a big fight.Khan is a step to far imo. It would make an intresting couple of rounds with Murray pressuring Khan but Khan is to fast and his hand speed will give Murray fits.Could see Murrays corner pulling him out around the 8th.

Really? Nobody else? I'd be happy with any of these as well:

    Juan Urango
    Juan Manuel Marquez
    Victor Cayo
    Michael Katsidis
    Kendall Holt
    Breidis Prescott Rematch

Zab Judah as well but as he's tied to a contract I didn't mention him.

Give Maidana a rematch if Khan has the balls to do it again.

Murray definately needs to stay at Lightweight.

I have this feeling that Khan and his team are just cruising for an opponent that will take the smallest payday, fuckin cheaparses........... Low shot this one Khan, fight someone at Light Welterweight. Plenty on the list above.....

    Urango? To slow
JMM? Styles make fights. Not the right style for JMM
    Cayo? Good, NOPE.
Katisdis? I like that one, but again, Khan outclass him.
Holt? Where is he? I believe he's fighting at 147 now. NOPE!!!
Prescott? Khan scared or the promoters know they can sell that fight if Khan lose again.
    Judah will be next!!!

For me, after Maidana and before Bradley /Alexander winner, there was truly only one way to go, and that was to fight Ortiz / Peterson, and IMO, Peterson got beat. So the fight Khan should be lined up with now is Ortiz. GBP are obviously saving this one for down the line....

If Dana White was match making then you right. But after Maidana, Khan's promoter's is not going to put him in with a heavy handed puncher.

Your right. Dead right....... I just think it absolutely stink that they seem to be looking for the cheapest opponent around. They offer they were supposed to have given McCloskey was apparently daft.....

The list I gave were of opponents that would be acceptable. Any of these names would be a plus on the record but I'd expect Khan to start favourite against any of them.

Urango - Yes he's slow, but a 2 time world champion at the weight and is a big puncher
JMM - Top 5 P4P fighter. Yeah he's smaller but he's looking at moving to 140 so it is acceptable
Cayo - Again a big puncher. Natural 140lber too.
Katsidis - Just would be an eciting fight as he's a big Lightweight and his previous UK wins would sell it. I'd like to see how Khan dealt with his pressure fighting too.
Holt I'll admit was clutching at straws. Just an ex world champ but worst of the list.
    Prescott Rematch for obvious reasons.

Of the 2 names you mentioned, I'd suggest Peterson is just as good an opponent as any, but I'd heard Ortiz is struggling to make 140, hence the Berto fight.

What about Prescott or a Maidana rematch?

Why do you want to see him fight Ortiz? Or Peterson for that matter?

I don't think they'd be that worried about Ortiz considering what happened when they fought in the amatuers
