but the referee wasnt even going to book rooney for the'alledged' stamp. Its clear to everyone,its on worldwide TV - The ref had blew for the foul and was stood indicating a direct free kick. He didnt reach to his back pocket for the yellow card or his top pocket for the red UNTIL Ronaldo had come over mouthing off and rooney pushed him.

EVERYONE knows if a referee is going to book or send someone off for a foul its the first thing they reach for. They dont indicate what type of free kick it is and then wait til the game is ready to re-start again.

Mate like i said a 1000 times, he was playing for Portugal in the biggest event in the World, the World Cup, not Man Utd, they were not team mates in that match, and Rooney stamped on his fellow team mate, what do you expect him to do, turn a blind eye because they are club team mates??

Mate if you read my posts im blaming the ref more than anyone. IMO Rooney has done nothing wrong and even FIFA have made a statement saying they are unsure what wayne rooney was sent off for. It was not a delibrate stamp, If someone pulls you back (figo) while another comes through the back of you taking your legs, How are you supposed to stay up He had to put his feet somewhere, If anuything the only thing rooney did wrong was stay up, he should have dived on the floor and rolled around 4 times holding his face.
