generalbulldog the heavyweight division is no different than when Lennox Lewis was running things you've got dominant champs (the Klitschko's) and everyone else in the division is too old, too untested, or just simply not good enough to bother them and the worst thing is the untested fighters are REFUSING to step up.

Oh come on, Lewis had way better competition when he was champ. You forgot Lewis was part of the 2nd greatest HW era, which would be the 90s. That comment was almost as bad as when you said Wlad would beat Ali easily because Ali was the equivalent of Chris Byrd.

I forgot no such thing, I was merely pointing out the end of Lewis' reign had a poor pool of talent. Sure guys liek Ruiz and Byrd had earned their title shots, but obviously neither would have posed any threat to Lennox. The same is true right now, though most fighters haven't earned their title shots and the ones that have just refuse to take the final step.

The division has ALWAYS been filled with inconsistancy, lackluster performers, and faded talent it'll still have some decent fights, but you're going to have to look for them. The last top heavyweight fights I've seen were Lewis-Vitali and Brewster-Liakhovich.

hahaha i always like dboth fighters...........tough to pick 1 for me. would be sad to see either lose, and at age 60, would be really, really sad to see any pnsihment there.
