yeah reckon he was just exhausted going down the second time didnt even look like he got hit, he probably only had 1 round in him and gave it all he had left that first round. Experience will have done him good though and he can come back stronger.

what do you think of the robin reid fight?

the jim watt was pretty tough on him i thought

i saw webb throwing a lot of punches but not landing too many, and reid was definately more accurate

watt was slagging him for holding when they got in close but i thought it was the right tactic

after the first 2 rounds it looked like they landed the same amount of punches but webb threw twice as many and reid was more accurate and the stats proved that, reid seemed to land more big shots too

the last reid definately lost but im not so sure about the other 2, maybe he lost the first 30 seconds of the first

I was totally sick of Jim Watt being on Reid after one round. His commentary is very biased and often without foundation and he also pretty much shouts his commentary which is incredibly annoying. He should shut up more. Don't take kindly to him commentating at all....

I agree re: the mental 30-28 scoring in that Reed fight. I mean thats fucked up. Its like they read the wrong name for the corresponding score. Is there any way under any rule in boxing that 3rd round with the knockdown could not result in a point being taken off? How can that be a 10-10 round? Bog standard 10-8 round that was. I had it 28-28 draw fwiw as I thought the pasty dude took the first 2 rounds.

I seem to notice a trend in prizefighter of quite a lot of rounds being seemingly scored 10-10 as well which is annoying.

Btw what happens if its a draw on the scores? How do they decide who progresses?

I'm glad it's not just me that thought that! It's impossible for that last round to have been anything other than a 10-8.

I had the 2nd round a draw, so he would have won.

If it's a draw I think it goes to the ref to make the deciding vote.
