Holyfield dropped and stopped Neilson in the 11th round and was ahead on all cards for anyone who cared . . . . .

not that I imagine there is anyone who cares about this result.

48-year-old former heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield (44-10-2, 29 KOs) defeated 46-year-old Super Brian Nielsen (64-3, 43 KOs) by eleventh round TKO on Saturday night at the Koncerthuset in Copenhagen, Denmark. Holyfield was much sharper than Nielsen, who was returning after an eight year retirement. Holyfield scored a knockdown in round three and proceeded to break down and bust up Nielsen, finally getting the stoppage in round eleven after launching a barrage of punches at Nielsen in the corner. Time was 2:49. The game Nielsen wanted to continue and didn’t seem particularly hurt.

I sincerely hope someone can retire him before he actually gets a fight against a real puncher who hurts him.

I cared somewhat about the result. Went on boxrec today and was happy to see Evander stopped the fatty.

As long as Holyfield continues to fight this level of opposition I'm fine with it. But, when he steps it up he's going to get hurt.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

I think he wants to fight at this level for that reason and the fact that he gets paid as he needs the money. He is happy and safe at this level, let him carry on with this seniors tour.

having watched Tua last night, I think Evander will be competitive against him.
