Holyfield scored a knockdown in round three and proceeded to break down and bust up Nielsen, finally getting the stoppage in round eleven after launching a barrage of punches at Nielsen in the corner. Time was 2:49. The game Nielsen wanted to continue and didn’t seem particularly hurt.

I cared somewhat about the result. Went on boxrec today and was happy to see Evander stopped the fatty.

As long as Holyfield continues to fight this level of opposition I'm fine with it. But, when he steps it up he's going to get hurt.

I think he wants to fight at this level for that reason and the fact that he gets paid as he needs the money. He is happy and safe at this level, let him carry on with this seniors tour.
