Norris v McCallum would be a great fight
Prime RJJ v Prime Joe Galzhaghe would be a great fight too.

I think this would be a helluva lot closer than others do. I wouldn't favor JC, but their athleticism is closer than commonly believed and I think JC was technically better and might have been just a little bit tougher.

Chang and Carbajal would have been fun. Floyd and Casamyor really should have happened. Too bad. Olivares and marquez is a better fight than many would think. Had Jones been able to make 160 the day of a fight, Robby schools him. That Jones was really inexperienced. Pryor and benitez might have been the perfectly chosen contrast in styles. Magic.

I actually consider Olivares-Marquez to be a 50-50 fight. People seem to forget what a beast Marquez was as a Bantamweight. Jones was some what inexperienced at 160. But his skill level is so off the charts that it almost didn't matter. People don't seem to realize that Jones never really learned to fight the right way. He had so many bad habits. But those bad habits were easily erased cuz he was Superman. Robinson never, ever faced anybody close to having the talent Jones had. How would he deal and prepare for it? If I had to pick one fight I think it would easily be Duran-Mosley at 135

The best pure athlete Robinson faced was probably who? California Jackie Wilson? Roy never saw anyone who could punch like Robinson, nor a ring general like Robinson who would so badly exploit Roy's technical mistakes. I think it's a blowout.

The only thing in common Wilson and Jones had was a silver Olympic medal. He was athletic but I don't think he could be compared to Jones. I don't think anybody could when it comes to talent. I consider skills and talent 2 different things. For all his mistakes and flaws, I don't think anybody would ever blow a 160 pound Roy Jones. Not even the great Ray Robinson.

I wasn't trying to argue Wilson=Jones just that he might have been best athlete SRR faced. If I had to name the most overweighted element in the success of a fighter in the minds of fans? it is raw talent. The most underweighted? Craft. Good talent and exceptional craft will almost always beat great talent and mediocre craft.

In my mind, any dream card would include Ketchel vs Greb at 160, and Chavez vs Duran at 140. Probably Benny Leonard and Whitaker at 135.

I gotta say I on my list of fighters I just don't "get" is Stanley Ketchell. I've read just about everything there is on him and he is claimed to be a savage whirling dervish, and yet the best footage of him I can find, the fourth Papke fight, shows a disinterested, slow, sluggish guy. I know it's only one fight but...

You must have seen the clip where he knocks down Jack Johnson, that is the equivalent of Martinez knocking down Haye.

Yeah except I'm persuaded those two were doing buisness in that fight and Ketchell broke the agreement.
