If you're looking for chemical companies look no further than here in Augusta SC/Ga. I'm not kidding. I can't be for certain of the exact numbers, but I suppose the bulk of jobs out here are from the plants, etc... As far as the rest of the state, I'm really not certain, but I'd bet there are plenty.

Argh. Arlovski is the man. The first two fights were great, but this last one sucked. Neither man looked like themselves.

Von, I work security at a chem plant in NC, and we ship a lot of chemicals to K-C Beech Island Mill in Beech Island, SC (zip 29841). Heard rumors it may be shutting down, and not really sure how close to Myrtle it is, but it may be worth a shot.

Also check out the Wilmington, NC area. I live in NC, and literally just got back from vacationing in Myrtle. I saw a ton of factories in the Wilmington area. Its only about 50 minutes north of Myrtle Beach, all highway, so it may be practical if you're staying near the NC/SC border (which is where Myrtle is, just in case you weren't familiar).

    AND TO BE ON TOPIC:

I think that the fight was definately called prematurely, especially considering Herb was stepping in after the first or second elbow, if you watch in the background. I definately agree that there was no chance in hell that Shamrock would win, but I feel they should have let it carry on for just a few more seconds just in case.

    And to be quasi-on-topic:
Shamrock completely decimated Fujita. His sorry ass just quit because wittle baby was too tiwed.(thats "too tired" in baby speak)

It's amzing how many times you think a guy is done, then the ref doesn't stop it, and the guy comes back. Then you see another fight and what looks like a beating is left to continue. I thought there were times when Liddell knocked down Horn with good, clear shots that in other fights were worthy of immediate stoppage. Horn eventually threw in his own towel, but still....

another very early UFC fight was between 2 guys i don't know.... one muscular white guy and one very big N American indian. The indian looked dead but the ref let it continue and sure enough, 10seconds later he got the KO with one shot.

You thinking of Tank Abbot vs John "Chief" Matua?

    http://www.sherdog.com/fightfinder/f...?FighterID=111

That was the one where Tank slugged him real good a few times, dropping him to his knees more than once, then finally got a big KO on him.

The stoppage was premature. It was obvious that Shamrock was getting pummeled, but was he being hurt? Ive seen Matt Hughes take some nasty ground and pound then get up and still win the fight. If Shamrock was senseless or bloody then Id say the stopapge was justified.
