Dunno about that mate. Curry was arguably p4p number 1 when Honeyghan beat him.
I said up there, Ward is under rated he is a very skilled fighter but if Froch pulls this one he is made, he can write his own cheques fighting Bute and Hopkins.

Yeah Ward is skilled , but i think he is overrated imo , good boxing skills , good inside , throws good combos , but lacks power , and is terrible with his head , just look at Kessler after there fight , that damage wasnt all done by punches, and that is his best win against a name fighter by a long way . I just sometimes get bored watching him , ward is far from exciting , but i cant knock the guy too much he has proved he deserves to be where he is by beating everyone he has faced .Ido like Froch not just because im british , but he actually wants to fight the best and he has a unbelivable will to win which i admire greatly , just hopes he fights at distance like he did against Abraham behind his long jab and then unload power rights, this is a tough one to call for me , but am edging towards Froch on points only because he doesnt need to wory about Wards power .Just hope its a great fight .

I agree. It will be a closer fight than the Abraham was or the Green fight. I actually thought the Bika fight was competitive for a bit. Ward just has more in his repertoire than Froch and for the first time for Froch, he's facing someone with the desire that matches his. Would I be shocked if Froch eeked out a close decision by having the stronger punches and maybe staggering Ward a few times? No. To me, it's just more likely Ward takes it like 8-4/9-3. How happy is Fenster that the S6 is finally finishing?
I think the S6 has been great for matching fighters tough. It makes "champions" like Bute look really weak when you consider the S6 competitors schedules.

I only ever said it wouldn't work as planned. I was proved right when Taylor retired after the first fight. Let alone other fighters being replaced, rows about home advantage, arguments about money, injuries delaying bouts, promoter/fighter fall-outs etc.

Just about every reason I gave for why it wouldn't work happened.
As you said, at the end of the day, Froch and Ward deserved to be where they are. It'll be a tactical fight and I like Ward's chances.

It seems like most believe that SOG will dominate Froch, there was even some twit on this thread, who thinks, Ward will win every round, but I don't see that at all. When has anyone completely dominated Froch? Just sayin' Froch may lose the fight, but he'll make it competitive, this isn't going to be a piece of cake for Ward like some fans seem to think, and it's not out of the realm of possibility that Froch wins this fight.

Froch needs to fight his fight, keep the pressure on, and don't let Ward dictate the action.
