    Default Beginner, need some advice

Alright fellas, im not a boxer, iv recently started krav maga, if you haven't heard of it, its basically a system of mixed arts, the stand up side being based more on boxing (the founder was a champion boxer i think)

Well, iv recently got a heavy bag to practice my techniques. I wanna start of slow, build up a good technique foundation before i start putting power in my punches, only problem is I know nothing about correct boxing technique (in class, the emphasis is more on self defence with short nasty blows rather than practicing correct form for hours) which is fair enough, but i'v always loved boxing and wanna get the techniques right.

I was hoping i could get some advice on the the straight jab, right punch, left hook and right hook (im right handed) with regards to using feet, legs, shoulders and hips correctly.

Iv read a few articles online about these techniques, but their all conflicting, for example.

Straight left jab and right jab:
Are the feet planted full during these or does the front (or back) foot slightly raise and twist on the front below the toes or the fully on the heel? and how should the legs be positioned?

    Hooks:
Apart from twisting the hips and legs, should the feet be planted or should you slightly raise off just below the toes? and if throwing a lead hand hook from a longer distance, should you twist out your centre line as well?

One thing i have trouble understanding, with all of the above, jabs, crosses, hooks, how do you correctly step into your opponent using them?

These are just example of conflicting stuff iv read, any or all advice on how to perform them correctly using the entire body would be greatly appreciated.

With power, does it come from speed, weight, or both? and when throwing jabs and right cross's, should you lean forward or not lean forward?

Another thing is, in krav, most punches is done from a neutral stance, like just standing normally for self defence purposes, can all the techniques be possible from this stance or does it have to be a boxing stance?

Thanks for reading if you managed to get this far haha, do appreciate any advice at all.
