All things considered this is a good crossroads match and while you gotta be careful not to root for the underdog for the sake of doing so, I will not be shocked at all to see Ishida pepper the hell out of a one step behind Williams for that 12 round win.

That's possible, I noticed at the weigh-in that Ishida is nearly as tall as Williams, so Williams won't have his usual height advantage. The thing is, Ishida's win over Kirkland aside, he doesn't have much power and P-Will has a decent chin, so if Ishida wins it would likely be by decision. After seeing Williams win that shit decision over Lara in his last fight, i'd love to see Ishida find lightening in a bottle again, and knock him out.
Yeh thats the only way I see it could go, dec to him. If Williams is off that aggresive step and not pressing with volume ala the Phillips fight (great body work) Ishida has some good hands and shifty in there and might suprise. He is very live. I dont think you really have to hit the last version of Paul hard to beat him...just hit often. I watched his 4 fights prior to Kirkland win and dude is quick, flashy...almost too much at times... and despite low ko percentage he can fight and has some slicing type shots. That Alvarez loss was a bad call to me. It'll be up to Williams to have zero respect for him early on and hope his face holds up while trying to break that body in half. Lots of scenarios and maybe I'll look a total fool, wouldnt be the first time but pulling for the Ishida win, think its def there.

Ok shutting up now
